I called Jeff about a potential issue I had with two light switches in my house. The lights would flicker when switched on, and with two young kids in the house I was worried about potential issues.. Jeff arrived at my house within a few hours of me calling, and instantly diagnosed the issue! I was flabbergasted that the issue was with the âsmartâ light bulbs, over the actual electrics. His knowledge and professionalism on such matter was clearly evident. I now have his number saved for when I actually have an electrical job to do! Thanks again :)

Jeff is a friendly, thorough and professional electrician. We wanted our 55-year-old electrics to be upgraded and future-proofed and Jeff didnât disappoint. He (and Dylan) inspected the electrics before replacing our ageing consumer unit. He then also replaced some unworking single sockets with double plug and USB sockets. Jeff was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, and made sure his advice and explanations were clear. Nothing was too much trouble and he even hoovered up afterwards! We are very pleased with his work and will certainly be trusting him to work for us again when the next job is due. We would highly recommend him for any job, big and small.

I contacted Jeff this morning regarding some work that needed to be looked at for my parents. He promptly sent me his phone number for us to call him, which my mum did. Jeff came to see them a few hours later and was able to do the work there and then. We were concerned about another issue in their garage, Jeff and his colleague sourced the problem, which thankfully turned out to be not electrical. Throughout their time at my parents we found them to be extremely polite and friendly. I would have no hesitation in referring Jeff to anyone needing an electrician. It's reassuring to know there are tradespeople who genuinely care about customers, especially elderly ones.

Jeff came to fit two light fixtures in my lounge and to replace two spotlights in the kitchen. Lounge lights were fitted really well. The two lights in the kitchen were just a loose connection and didnât need to be replaced. Which I was grateful that Jeff investigated this without just changing the lights. I found the job was completed efficiently, and extremely tidily. I have used Jeff for a couple of jobs and I wouldnât hesitate to recommend him to anyone who would require an electrician.

Thanks to Jeff and co. For finding the time to fit us in and sort out the logs of power in the garage. After an initial visit for inspection and quote the work was carried out to an extremely high standard... As an overseas but self managing Landlord, I am reliant on trustworthy Tradespeople. I have recently switched to Case and Young after having doubts about the data recorded on my EICR certificates by another Electrician, which could have left my tenants living with faulty and possibly dangerous wiring. Mr Case has retested all my properties, providing me with excellent communication, photographs and advice, and any remedial work needed has been done swiftly, professionally and at a comparable price. Case & Young have completed several jobs for me including installing spotlights in my soffits, repairing the lights in my garden, replacing ceiling lights, adding extra plug sockets and are shortly to replace my fuse board. They are friendly, approachable and clearly know what they are talking about. They tidy up after themselves and have worn PPE during each visit. We used Case & Young for all our electrical needs during our recent house extension and new layout. We had a fantastic and open relationship with Jeff and Chris from the start and valued their honesty and communication throughout. We were involved in all decision making and were always asked âwhat do we wantâ which was not always the quickest or easiest job for them. There was quite a lot of work that needed completing but this was all done to the highest standard and in the time frames originally stated, and the house looks beautiful now. As I was having a house rewire I was worried beforehand that there would be a lot of dust and mess but I need not have worried as they were so considerate. They worked around me thus enabling me to remain in my own home whilst the work was being done. They explained everything beforehand, during and after the work had been done. Another electrician came and gave me the number for Jeff as he couldnt do what I needed! I rang jeff and him and his partner came within the hour on their way home from work which I was so grateful for! They sorted out my issue quickly and both were helpful and friendly and knew exactly what they were doing! They are returning next week to do some other work! Trustworthy, helpful and reassuring! Getting an electrician has been a struggle but they came, sorted out the problem, were lovely to me even though I had no coffee or cash and are coming back! We were given Jeff's name on a recommendation and wow we definitely weren't disappointed.We wanted an outside light for our back garden, which seemed easy enough in the 1st instance , but it wasn't and jeff went out of his way and spent a while researching the best product to suit the job . I telephoned jeff at 09.10am As i was with an elderly lady on an emergency call out . She had no electric this had triggered her unit alerting us to attend and perform a welfare check . This lady had no telephone and no nok To arrange electric repairs , she asked me to recommened or help her find someone to fix it for her. Prior to retiring as a building surveyor some 20 years ago, I have struggled to find a good, reliable electrician. With a professional, enthusiastic approach, Jeff and his young colleague from 'Case & Young Ltd.' fit the bill admirably. Case & Young had been recommended to me by the Think Ahead Stroke group where I am a member, and had done an excellent job for me last year fixing my stair lift. So when my electricity went off last week - meaning I couldn't use my stair lift to get to the bathroom and bedroom, I rang them straight away and Jeff came as soon as he could. They systematically checked all electrics and sockets etc and soon everything was working again. They said not to hesitate to contact them if I had any more trouble and even helped my sister bring a bed downstairs in case it went off again - which it hasn't. I would definitely recommend this company who go above and beyond and won't hesitate to use them again.

Having obtained quotes to remove and replace our office panel lights with LED panels, we decided to contract Jeff & Young to undertake the work, as not only was their quote very reasonable but they had excellent feedback from others.Jeff and the rest of the team were outstanding. Initial meeting with Jeff was informative and honest with smart and effective solutions for the task proposed.Case and Young carried out a full rewire of my dwelling, arriving early each day and making the most of the daylight.The team worked hard and were tidy with all stages. Jeff and Chris came out and rectified dodgy workmanship that was done by a company that my estate agents sent out, in the end Jeff dealt with the estate agents and rectified the bad workmanship that had been left so that we could have our boiler back on and have hot water that we hadn't had for 24 days due to this issue. The Case & Young team carried out a rewire on our house, from start to finish Jeff & Chrissy talked us through the plan, listening to our opinions and taking on board our ideas to ensure we were completely happy with the end result. I required an urgent Electrical Installation Condition report for my remortgage and I was given Case and Young's details by someone on Facebook. Jeff came and explained everything that was going to be done and did a thorough check of the system and also sorted a few bits that was also required. All was done to a high standard and promptly. Canââ¬â¢t fault these guys at all, very responsive to messages, great workmanship and really friendly. They helped us sort out our new fridge freezer, which couldnââ¬â¢t sit flush in the cabinet due to the position of the electrical socket. Not only did they move the existing plug socket to a better position, they also installed the fridge freezer in the built-in cupboard for us (which proved to be an absolute nightmare, for various reasons). They stayed and worked on it for ages and managed to come up with a solution. It now fits perfectly. Canââ¬â¢t recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much!

We need an 32amp lead to a new hot tub outside in the garden plus some external waterproof sockets, these guys were recommended, only issue was our main consumer board in the house had no spare zones. We were against the clock, landscapers were prepping the ground where the new cables were going, hot tub delivery date was set!! These guys coordinated between trades, came when they said they would, clean, tidy & polite & fnished job to the deadline. We needed to replace our cooker hood because the fan had stopped working. When Jeff & Chris came round to look at the job, Jeff advised us that we should be able to replace just the fan which would save us a lot of money. There and then, Jeff looked into this for us & after our agreement, found the correct fan & ordered it on line. Jeff fitted the fan a couple of weeks later & we are up & running again. While Jeff was completing that job, Martin was replacing a couple of outside PIR lights. Meanwhile, Chris was looking at job number 3, for which he will be returning to fit a couple of downlighters in the cloakroom. From start to finish Jeff, Chris & Martin were very polite, courteous & tidy at work. There wasn't any mess to clear up afterwards. I would definitely recommend Case & Young Ltd, should anyone be looking for an electrician.

Jeff, Chris and Martin ( apprentice ) are very knowledgeable and passionate about their work. I had a lot to do so work was done in stages. Kitchen 're wire and was given a choice of downlights and new socket facials. Fitted a new consumer unit, new plugs, lights outside and many other things. Nothing was too much trouble and thoroughly explained what and why they where doing it. My home has been totally transformed and is now safe. Would definitely recommend this company and if I need an electrician again I will be calling them.

Phone the guys, on the recommendation of someone via Facebook, on Thursday, they came out on Friday. Very reasonably priced. Excellent customer services. I'd tried to fix the light fitting myself, and with limited DIY experience, I'd managed to do something wrong. They guys came and fixed it, no blame; I wasn't made to feel small or stupid - they were really informative and helped me understand where I'd gone wrong. No hesitations in recommending them to anyone I know :)

Last job I had done was a fuse board swap at my house. But I have worked with Jeff for quite a number of years, from the odd socket and cat 5 point to full call centre rollouts, fibre connectivity, cat 6 and data centre moves, installs and additions. Network testing/troubleshooting. Even a backup generator install and commissioning for a call centre! Single phase 3phase the list goes on!!! Nothing is too big or too small. Has to be one of the most knowledgeable, straight talking and nicest guy in the game. Highly recommend him.

Jeff & Chris carried out an upgrade to the electrical supply to our garage in order to fit an external 32A socket for connecting a Hot Tub. This involved replacing & re-routing the supply cable, replacing the consumer unit in our garage & running a cable to the external socket, plus fitting the 32A socket. The guys turned up on time & all work was completed in a clean, efficient manner. Jeff & Chris were very polite & communication was good leading up to & after the completion of the work. They are so pleasant, professional, nothing too much trouble. They have done previous work i.e. supervised kitchen re-fitting and carrying out electrical work required. They have even pained my outside window ledges and cleaned up UPVC drains.
