Introduction

The Good Trader Scheme is operated by Wigan Council Trading Standards Service. It is not an approval scheme but is a register of businesses in the borough that have signed up to our code of practice. It is promoted by Trading Standards and its partner agencies to help consumers in the borough find a reputable trader.

If you are a business that offers good customer service, trades fairly and honestly and is reliable you can apply for membership to Wigan Council’s The Good Trader Scheme.
