My Mum had a dripping outside tap which needed replacing. I rang Robert on the Monday & he replaced it the next day. Robert is very nice and punctual. I would not hesitate to ask him to do any other job and I would recommend him.

The toilet in the bathroom was leaking when flushed so essentially we couldn't use it. Came across Zest Plumbing And Heating and were impressed by the number of positive reviews received. Contacted Robert and explained the problem and he fitted us in within 2 days. Came to the house (used overshoes when entering our house) and weighed up the problem. Gave great and common sense advice which we followed. Robert replaced the toilet for a more user and future friendly one. While he was here he also replaced the bathroom sink waste which had been giving problems for some time. Robert was always respectful of our home and very friendly. Robert even went to the trouble of checking up on his work the day after and ensuring we were happy with the work completed. I have no hesitation in recommending Robert and plan on having the house heating system looked by him in the near future. Many thanks.

A fault with my current boiler resulted in a new boiler needing to be fitted. Rob was very understanding of my cirsumstances as being without central heating or hot water in January, for any legth of time, is less than ideal. He did his best to make the turnaround as fast as possible and the work was completed to an excellent quality as always.

As per usual, Rob to the rescue! Numerous times we have called Robert when in need of urgent plumbing assistance and he's always made that extra effort to be with us as soon as possible. Contacted Rob to fix a leak on our bedroom radiator. Rob came down the same day and managed to fix the issue very quickly. This was a small job but all work was done with respect to our house, leaving no mess and everything working as it should. Weâve used Rob for other jobs around the house, he is always very polite, helpful and clear. He maintains good communication at all times, from the first call you make. Rob replaced a bath waste and overflow - he did it quickly and to an excellent finish. No mess, and he explained what he did and the parts he used. Service on my elderly housebound parents' boiler which Rob installed. Rob has done numerous jobs for us over the years to an excellent standard, however, this was just a standard boiler service. He always find the time to have a chat with them which they really appreciate. His charges are more than reasonable and I never even consider asking him for a quote anymore as he's the best!

Would give 11 out of 10 if we could. Wish all tradespeople were as great as Rob. Always friendly, helpful, fair pricing and efficient with any plumbing and heating issues. Rob fitted a complete new shower and glazed walk-in shower cubicle and also some updated the bathroom with ceiling cladding with new spotlights and extract fan.All the works were carried out meticulously, with great attention to detail, all completed within the time periods quoted and with regular liaison to make sure that we were happy with what was being done throughout.I can definitely recommend Zest as being an excellent choice for bathroom works.

I definitely recommend Rob for any plumbing and heating issue you may have.He is very meticulous and shows great attention not just to the work but also to the personal circumstances of the people that call him.We call him because of a major leak in the house of an elderly person. He turned up on time, identified the problem very quickly, acted promptly to rectify another problem that came up with the leak. We planned the work together and he asked many times what we're our priorities, given the age of the resident of the house. He even suggested adding some hand rails for the resident in the bathroom. This shows his experience and sensibility.Extremely satisfied. Will call him again to rectify some other problems that we identified while he was there and never got fixed.Thanks Rob!

Gas leak on cooker valve, rang him and out in a few hours after making sure I'd turned the gas off in the mean time, capped the pipe as requested and checked leak was sorted then made sure boiler would fire back up. Even pointed out a couple of problems that need sorting I hadn't sorted out yet, thoroughly recommend. 10/10

Rob did my boiler service on 13th April and I was so impressed with his work I asked him to quote on replacing all the radiators in my house as they were old and very inefficient. Over Christmas we had an unidentified sound of running water, which seemed to be associated with boiler. Robert responded quickly to our request for help, first by video link then by visit. Rob was recommended by another plumber who was booked up for a couple of days when I needed somebody urgently. He was great from start to finish, tried to help out over the phone in the first instance to save me a call out fee and then came out at really short notice (same day) to fix a fault so that we could get our water and heating back up and running.Really nice guy and brilliant work. I cannot recommend Robert highly enough. I called Robert with a serious leak emergency (shower cubicle) and Robert dealt with this swiftly and expertly. I decided to then replace the shower and shower cubicle and asked Robert for a quote. His quote was swift and competitive. Having met Robert and being impressed with him from the first meeting I asked him to complete the job. Robert is a thorough, organised, conscientious worker and of course plumbing expert and a pleasure to have around. His work is immaculate and the pride he takes in his work is outstanding.

Rob came out at short notice to help me out when I accidentally drilled through a central heating pipe⦠Over the phone, he instructed me how to stop the water flowing in the system and then came over to repair the pipe. I needed an ensuite and bathroom replacing and Rob came recommended to me by a friend. He took lots of time talking through options, potential pitfalls and how these could be avoided. Work started as scheduled and I felt comfortable going on holiday leaving Rob and the joiner (John) to work on the ensuite. Good planning, communication and collaboration is key to the success of any project and all these aspects were present in abundance. The results were amazing. Next was the bathroom but this time I was working from home. Rob was so flexible which meant I could carry on making calls. The biggest challenge came when the bath (ordered by me) didnât turn up. Again, itâs how we work together that makes a job more enjoyable, and both Rob and the joiner were able to put things on hold until it arrived. Once it came they finished the job off even working the weekend to finish it before I came back from another hol! Again the results were amazing and I have 2 rooms that people walk into and say âwowâ. The kindness, consideration and patience shown by Rob was wonderful and helped to make sure that the whole experience was one that I would recommend to anyone else to enjoy. Thank you again Rob!!

Came very quickly to check out a potential leak around a toilet. There no leak and explained what was causing the problem. Had a look at a leaky shower at the same time and explained what was wrong and best cause of action, plus advised on sealant that need replacing.Would call straight away, if I ever needed plumbing services in the future. I contacted zest plumbing after several plumbers promised to attend and never showed up to check my dad's boiler. Rob responded immediately and promptly scheduled a visit to check my dad's boiler. It was a good job he came when he did as the appliance was condemned as unsafe and a new boiler was fitted. Rob is puntucal, friendly and very reliable! Quick response to a toilet that wouldn't flush. Was able to quote for work after a chat and photo exchange of cistern, then quickly arranged to do the work. Woke up on the morning to find the radiator in the bathroom had sprung a major leak, with water running through into the downstairs entrance room. after spending most of the morning trying to deal with it very unsuccessfully. We got the number off my parents for Mr Lewis who had done some work for them in the past and who they were very pleased with. I phoned Robert and after a quick chat and breif text of my address was knocking on my door within a few hours ready to help. Got straight to work stopping the leak on our dodgy valves and even though was obviously busy in between jobs, took the time to go through the issues and discuss how we could rectify the problem the most practical way. Less than 45mins later job done. Very polite and friendly, very approachable and just couldn't fault him in any way. Will gladly be arranging for a return visit in the new year for few less urgent jobs. Proper genuine bloke.

Rob came out at short notice to fix a radiator that started leaking when we turned our central heating on. He did a nice neat repair, and checked that all our other radiators were heating up ok with no air locks in them. Price was very reasonable. Well recommended.

I contacted Robert regarding a problem with my Central Heating Boiler and Bathroom Taps. He was very prompt in getting back to me and arranging a suitable time and date to attend. Robert gave very professional help and advice regarding the problems and carried out the necessary works to a very high standard. His prices were very fair and he cleaned up after himself. I would not hesitate in using him again if needed and would highly recommend him. A friend of mine has also used him and is of the same opinion.

I texted Robert requesting a visit for our annual boiler service only to find he was on holiday. Even so he replied saying he would call me upon his return. Today he completed the work (3rd time we have used Robert) and paired up the new thermostat I had purchased in his absence with the receiver. Good Job! I contacted Robert after searching for a trader on Wigan Council. I chose Robert on the back of good reviews. I can honestly say those reviews were true. Robert got straight back after I left a message. I needed advice on whether my boiler needed replacing or could be repaired. A date was arranged and Robert turned up promptly. He was very pleasant and honest in terms of what he thought the problem was. Another day was set for the repair within a couple of days. It turned out I needed a new pump and a replacement seal in the boiler despite the boiler being over 20yrs old Robert assured me Iâll get a few more years out of it. He gave the boiler a good service. I was very impressed with Roberts workmanship, he came across as honest and reliable and very reasonable with his costs . I was very impressed and would have no hesitation in recommending him

Rob came to fit a new basin in bathroom. Previous one had been stuck to tiles but Rob managed to remove it without damaging the tiling. Excellent work and left the job clean and tidy. Would willingly use again.

Zest plumbing (Rob) came to repair a malfunctioning toilet which he sorted on his visit as he had the appropriate parts. Rob is always pleasant and helpful and has serviced and repaired our boiler over several years as well. He is also very good at communicating when he can do the job and will be there. Woke up in the morning to find the Boiler pilot light out and unable to make it stay lit. We called Zest Plumbing, they correctly identified the fault based on our description. They replaced the part and had our boiler back up and running within 2 hours of calling them. Really can't ask for more than that. Thanks guys.

Boiler broke down on Sunday. In spite of being unwell Rob came first thing Monday and diagnosed the issue. Parts ordered and fitted promptly. Rob even stayed until we were sure we had had hot water again. Excellent communication throughout and great service.

Rob is an excellent plumber and an overall good person. He helped immensely when my wife and I bought our house which needed substantial renovation in 2016. Rob fitted brand new pipework, a brand new central heating system with boiler, gas hob and new water main. All of his work has been outstanding and we are incredibly pleased with the quality of his craftsmanship. Robert installed a new tap and radiator for my elderly parents. His work is of an extremely high standard. He replied to all my calls immediately and did not let us down once - unlike some of the others on this site! To top it all, he is a really lovely man - very personable and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I would not hesitate to use him again and have recommended him to others based on the quality of his work. Contacted Rob about a problem with our heating not working after the summer break - he had installed the boiler for us. He came out at short notice for an initial look and identified the problem with the wireless thermostat. He then fitted us in one evening to replace it, but managed to fix the existing one, which was a nice bonus. Brilliant service - as always.

We telephoned Rob on a bank holiday as our shower was running cold. He advised he was going on holiday but passed the name of an alternative plumber. We decided to wait for Robâs return as we have used him many times in the past and trust him completely. Working full time proves problematic when arranging for work to be done. Rob however fits around our timetable. Rob is tidy, friendly, experienced and I would recommend him for any plumbing or boiler work.

A friend of mine referred me to Peter when we needed an emergency plumber to investigate and fix a leek that was dripping water through our lounge ceiling. What an excellent reference that was!Following our 08:30am tel call, Peter was out within the hour and has identified the source and is currently fixing the problem that is located in the bathroom shower. Rob originally installed our new boiler and called to give its annual service. He arranged a time suitable for us, and kept us informed of where he was. Rob helped us immensely when our boiler stopped working just before Xmas. He had previously dealt with plumbing matters at the house, and when I contacted him regarding the boiler he attended promptly, found the problem to be a failed central heating pump and arranged to fit a new one the following day. We needed our back boiler and gas fire replacing with a combi-boiler. Rob had previously fitted a radiator for us and although this was much bigger job, I didn't bother getting other quotes. I didn't expect Rob to be the cheapest, but I knew that his workmanship was excellent. He didn't disappoint. Came up with some good suggestions about where to situate the boiler. Fitted it in the loft, boarded all around it, and dropped the valves and gauges that need accessing down to a cupboard below. Outside pipework blends in well. Workmanship was again first class. All piping is neat and high quality. Worked really late one day to ensure that we kept our water supply. Rob always keeps you informed of when he will be coming and going, and if he has to quickly change arrangements he immediately calls you. A very personable young tradesman who I would recommend to anyone.

Mr Lewis came out on Good Friday as the Central Heating boiler had broken down!! He seemed very familiar with the type of boiler we have and was able to fix the problem there and then. This is the second time I have used Zest and would be happy to recommend Mr Lewis every time if you have heating or plumbing problems.

Called Zest out to attend to a gas leak. Arrived within 39 minutes and found the leak was behind an internal wall. Found the leak with the minimum of disruption, replaced a joint and re plasterd the wall. Cant recommend Rob too highly.
