With the massive disruption of the removal industry and with people under extreme circumstances still needing to move we will be offering our services using a removal van and a two man removal team. The guidance from the government website listed below must be adhered to but if we can safely move any customers without breaking the rules we would be available. Government guidance. Removals firms There will be people who have already committed to moving home; where possible we are encouraging them to delay their move but a small number of moves may need to go ahead. We would urge everyone to take all sensible precautions to ensure the move can happen safely. Removers should honour their existing commitments where it is clear that the move can be done safely for the client and your own staff and it is clear that the moving date cannot be moved. Removers should follow the latest government guidance which currently (26 March 2020) states that work carried out in people’s homes can continue, provided the tradesperson is well and has no symptoms or coronavirus (COVID-19). It is important to ensure government guidelines are followed, including maintaining a 2 metre distance from others, and washing their hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds (or using hand sanitiser gel if soap and water is not available). No work should be carried out by a person who has coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, however mild. Published 26 March 2020

Brilliant service. Arrive on time and were very speedy and efficient. The guys were extremely friendly and took excellent care of our belongings. We had numerous issues in the day of our move but they were fabulous with us about it. Very professional and would definitely recommend!

My mother needed a removal company that would move her belongings from one house to another on the other side of the road. Kitsons gave a very good service, at a very good price. The people arrived on time, were friendly and helpful, and did a good job.

We hired Kitsons to help move my elderly mother from her house into a retirement home after the passing of her partner. I must say they provided an excellent and efficient service on what was a very hard time. Extreme care was taken of my mothers possessions some of which have a lot of sentimental value. Very impressed with the quality of work and care taken with our furniture. Also moved a large upright piano for us to our sons and handled with great care nothing was too much bother for them many thanks for making our move a stress free one.

Kitsons scuffed a lovely black piano I have just inherited when became lodged in a doorway. They then tilted the piano which voided their insurance. I noticed the damage on return from work but as they weren't insured they denied all knowledge and didn't want to know. Really disappointed and would not recommend.
