Jon carried out an EICR a couple of months ago for us on the house we were buying. He called me afterwards to explain things to me in a way I could understand. Since having the keys heâs been round and looked at some things around the house and installed some new sockets. Would definitely use Jon again in future heâs been very helpful, easy to contact and get things booked in and has done a great job for us overall

Jon arrived promptly at the agreed time. He carried out the works to install and relocate a number of electrical sockets. The work was carried in a professional manner. Jon was very knowledgeable, courteous and tidy and he provided advice on relocating some sockets which was very helpful. The electric wiring in my shed needed to be extended following the installation of a new door and windows. Jon came to look almost immediately and completed the work the following week, I had been told by another firm that it was a much bigger job than it actually was and that it would involve considerable expense. Jon said this was not necessary and carried out the work for several hundred pounds less, for which I was very grateful. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with and I shall certainly use him again.

I had several small jobs that needed to be done as part of a larger home improvement project. Jon replaced several switches, pendant light fittings, and sockets. Jon came out on a Sunday to sort out a beeping electrical smoke detector. It transpired that both our detectors were well past their expiry date! He fitted new ones immediately and his charge was reasonable. He was courteous, came when he said he would , was efficient and I would be happy to ask him to do any further electrical work I may require.

Jon came and sorted out why my cooker wasnât working and why it was fusing when the kettle and hob were on at the same time, and corrected work not done properly by someone else. Full rewire of a pre-war 3-bedrrom terraced house with extension.I would highly recommend Jon as an electrician.Before the Job was done, he visited twice. Once to give an estimate and to inform of the necessary requirements needed form him to undertake the task. He also warned me that the job would results in a lot of dust settling for a few days. He came again a couple of days before to mark the place where the new sockets, switches, and outside lights would go.Jon was very punctual, starting and finishing the job on time. He followed my instructions to the letter and I could not be more pleased with his work.I will review again in six monthsâ time to give an update on the work done as it is early day but as far as I am concerned, I could not have picked a better man for the job.

The sockets kept tripping on the RCD circuit. Jon came at 8.30 the next day, it took him a while to isolate the problem but once he had he came up with a good cost effective solution. All finished by lunch time, he even hoovered up after himself and for much less than I was expecting. He is now my go to electrician. well done and thanks.

Employed Jon for the second time after reading customer reviews on here. The job was to supply and install a new consumer unit in my home, replacing an antiquated one over 50 years old. Additionally recommissioning the electricity supply in a garage that had been replaced, including installing a further bank of sockets for internal/external lighting, a freezer and supply for a work station. Communication with Jon is done in a timely manner, is clear and precise. Jon arrived exactly when he said he would, confirmed what I wanted done then got straight on with the job. The whole job took little over 4 hours or so, half the time I was expecting! I highly recommend Jon as an electrician, his work is exemplary. Thanks again Jon.

I called Jon for a quote for supply and fit a replacement bathroom extractor fan. He was very professional on the phone and knew his prices. He turned up when he said he would. One of my downstairs sockets kept tripping my circuit board and I couldnât reset it. This was leaving me without appliances and central heating, it was also on a Sunday. Jon completed a total rewire of our 2 bedroomed bungalow which included a number of visits over a few weeks as we are totally refurbishing the bungalow. Jon fitted some sockets and converted a PIR light into down lights in my conservatory, I had spoke to him about the job for a quote and he happily visited to discuss the requirements. Originally had this electrician to fit some out door lights and replace our security light in the back garden - did them really good and a nice chap. So we asked him to re-wire our kitchen following us knocking walls down etc to open our kitchen up he did it following the plans of the kitchen company. We got him to fit the new induction hob and supply & fit spot lights and all new sockets & switches. After having a nightmare with Currys over the new oven I had ordered I needed to find someone who could fit the oven at short notice. Found Jon on the good trader site and messaged him. What seemed like a big problem to me was just a minor inconvenience for Jon. Previous poor job from over 20 years ago by another tradesman was sorted in less than an hour. Phoned this morning due to an electrical fault, he told me he could come later today and a time he would arrive by and he would let me know when he was on his way which he did. Very professional and helpful guy. Would recommend to others.

Jon Is a personable and knowledgeable electrician where nothing is too much trouble. He kept me informed before arriving at exactly the time indicated. The work was completed to a very high standard and he made everything tidy when he had finished. The job was an outside security light (bulb), I am disabled so cannot go up a ladder. Jon was rained off twice but came on a Sunday to do the work. It was completed and tested for the agreed price which I thought reasonable. Would definitely use his services again.

Jon replaced the bircuit breaker for the twinkle lights in the bathroom. The circuit breaker is in the loft, he was fabulous, extremely polite and courteous. Did an excellent job left everything clean and tidy

Jon has done a full rewire of my property including returning to work in conjunction with other tradesmen during the refit of the kitchen and bathroom. He was recommended to me and I too have found him to be highly professional in his pleasant but efficient manner. His good communication regarding appointments the finish and tidiness of his work which is of a high quality and completion of certification following final testing. As a single older female I have felt confident in my dealings with him. He has carried out more minor work for my son who is also very pleased with the outcome.
