The staff are the best ive come across, from using a crash course service before i can honestly say that GJM are the best around, instructors are welcoming and very supportive whilst also maintaining a relaxed environment. I used GJM to do my C license and it was amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I can not thank this amazing company enough for getting me through my C1 and passing first time round. I could not have done it without my amazing instructor Dave. Dave made me feel at ease straight away, I felt like I had known Dave for years by the end of the course. The best instructor ever. I would highly recommend this company. I went with GJM to complete my C1, the team were very quick to be in contact and organise this. I was booked in for my theory and given supportive materials to assist with this straight away, even with a congrats text after. When it came to my practical test I was given Dave as an instructor and I couldnât have asked for a kinder, more supporting, overall amazing man to guide me on my journey. His attention to detail was perfect and the level of knowledge he showed gave me confidence. I did 2 days of practical passing both the reverse and drive first time. I would highly recommend using GJM for C1 or even just normal driving lessons.

Absolutely perfect experience. I had Dave who was with me throughout my two day course and it was great. For me, as someone who was worried about so many driving hours with someone new, Dave and I got along great and made me feel like i knew him for years! He had a great balance between personal and professional skills which i felt helped me be as confident as i was. He provided great support, great humour and again made the experience the best i could have wished for. I couldnât have asked for a better instructor as i enjoyed the whole time we spent together. He went the extra step in coming in early for me on my test day and did nothing but encourage me and my driving. Would absolutely recommend Dave and GJM to anyone looking for driving.

Got in contact with GJM Motoring after a bad experience with another driving instructor. From the very beginning the company were professional, friendly and helpful. The app they use is great and really useful. They put me in for my test as soon as I was ready and even brought it forward which saved me money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I started my driving lessons in May and have got nothing but good words, I swapped instructors after afew months which in most places would have caused alot of hassle but GJM handled the swap amazing and my lessons continued just as well. Callum picked up off gregor and I have got to say they were absolutely fantastic. With callum in the car on my test it just gave me that but of extra confidence remembering everything we had spoken about over the last few months. Without his help I do not know what I would have done. They have been absolutely amazing and I can do nothing but thank them!

Driving with GJM motoring was the best decision I ever made, I used to be the most nervous and anxious driver and I managed to pass my test first time and gain and unexplainable amount of confidence in my own driving skills. Callum was incredibly friendly and welcoming on my first lesson it lay all my anxieties to rest in the first 30 seconds of my first lesson. He helped me when I needed help, he calmed me down and helped me work through difficult and tricky situations and he made me feel comfortable and confident in the car, which has been my biggest achievement and I cannot thank Gjm motoring enough! It was one of the best experiences, full of great times, and I wouldnât change a thing about my time with the company! - best driving company ever :)

I recently passed my test with Trish of GJM Driving School. The process has been incredibly straight forward and theyâre always on hand to help, not just inside of lesson time but outside too. I can only speak highly of Gregor and his team and I certainly wouldnât hesitate recommending them to any one whoâs looking to start learning to drive or someone who just needs a few refreshers lessons before their test.

I have recently completed my C1 off road reversing test and on road driving test with Gregor. He has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was so helpful in organising my theory and booking in my practical test straight after. Gregor is perfect at moulding the lessons around your weaknesses and recognises nerves well and knows how to deal with them. From the minute I started driving the ambulance vehicle I felt at ease with Gregor and he is so encouraging and positive! I was able to pass both the off road reversing test and on road test first time with Gregor, so I couldnât recommend the service/company enough! Thank you Gregor for an amazing experience!

Gregor is based in Atherton, I reside in Penrith. I contacted Gregor (after a couple of phone calls to local instructors) and knew he would be the right person to support me (a nervous driver) through my c1 tests. Gregor drove up to me (what service!) was there early, was personable, supportive, reassuring and just all-around amazing. I honestly couldn't have asked for more and am so thankful. I have recommended GJM School of Motoring to the rest of my university cohort (student paramedics) and feel sure they will do brilliantly with guidance from Gregor.

Gregor was fantastic and efficient at getting my son through his test, arranging his theory for as close to his 17th as possible and then moving his test earlier as he was ready They may not be the cheapest but 25 lessons was all it took and i would highly recommend using them! Thank you ????

Amazing service from GJM!! My daughter had never driven before. She went from complete novice, to passing her test with only 17 hours of lessons over approx 12 weeks!! She enjoyed every lesson and it was fabulous to see her confidence increasing lesson by lesson. Callum was great. Could not have wished for a better instructor :)

Absolute best prices in the whole driver training field / amazing driving instructor and owner. Vehicle was easy to train in. Really good at putting nerves at easy and through good training techniques managed to get a 3a and 3b test all in 1 day when it was my first time driving a c1 vehicle. Thanks Gregor and Adam!

I approached GJM with the intention of getting my C1 licence due to the nature of my employment at the ambulance service. I spoke to Gregor and he was extremely polite and professional and explained the whole pricing and learning/application process eith great detail unlike the other companies I enquired at. Straight away gregors manner and professionalism shone through out the lot and I felt extremely happy with what they had to provide and chose GJM. Gregor helped me massively throughout the whole process. Going through the application forms with me including booking medical assesment and subsequent theory tests. Once completed I was handed over to their C1 trainer Adam who was also amazing to say the least. Very knowledgeable and again polite and professional. He went through everything with me coming up with quick on the spot techniques adapting to the way I learn and fortunately passed my C1. The whole process has been outstanding and I genuinely cant think of anything to fault them on. To think how competitively priced they are in comparison to others and are absolutely slammed busy and still have the incredible ethic and quality of work is amazing to me. A big thanks again Gregor and Adam. I have recommended my colleagues to GJM following my recent experience.

Contacted GJM to arrange the driving part of my C1 test and after failing my theory test (my own fault) Gregor was very quick to help me and give me all the support even when I was about to throw the towel in he would not let me and guess what passed the theory thanks to his support and determination. not only was GJM one of the cheapest in the northwest I was already impressed with the support for my theory which he did not need to do at all.Then I met Adam and the ambulance for day 1 very quickly i relised Adam is a very good trainer (and thatâs coming form a trainer Altho not driving trainer haha) and out we went Adam was very quick to adapt to my style of learning and test 1 was passed with out any worry and felt so confident then befor I knew it day 2 the final and big scary day and we was off Adam was quick to cover the little bit I needed to cover and befor I knew it I was at the centre ready for the test feeling nervous and very please to say I passed 1st time with 1 minor Adam and Gregor was very supportive and helpful throughout out the whole process and I am so thankful for Gregor not letting me walk away and Adam for getting me through the drivingI had so much fun doing this course and would reccomend them to anyoneMy only 2 regrets 1 I did not do my car driving with them 2 letting my nerves worry me

I contacted GJM via online enquiry, the owner rang me straight away, I was concerned that my daughter had already had a year's worth of lessons and would take her on as i knew she was very nearly test ready. My concerns were thrown out straight away and they were very happy to listen and explain what they would do. Two lessons in and they booked my daughters driving test for two weeks later. All in all 4 weeks and she has passed her test. Lots of interaction in those 4 weeks with Callum reassuring and updating me. Excellent service and will definitely be recommending them to everyone. I completed the C1 training course over a couple of weeks, and GJM were really accommodating when scheduling tests around holiday and work commitments! The actual training course was brilliant, Adam the instructor gives you all the advice you need to be confident when driving; even though I had never driven a large vehicle before I felt so comfortable straight away!! I would recommend GJM to anyone wanting to achieve their C1 everyone; the instructors are amazing, friendly, funny and give amazing advice- and I believe this helped me pass 1st time!!! This driving school was amazing.I have Autism, so I always thought driving would be a huge struggle, but the tutor really was amazing and help find the core of my driving based anxieties. Communication was clear and directions were easy to follow. Plus when I felt scared or anxious they would really put that at ease, calm me down and then carry on.I would really recommend them for those who have a hidden disability, honestly I've learnt so much in such a short time

I was looking to have my Driving assessed to get my Driving License back. I was lucky enough to speak to Callum to arrange with the office to book me on a course of action. I have had a great time out today with Callum on a drive. He has given me some great advice and pointers to help me retain my license. He has boosted my confidence and has been a great instructor. They had all the right equipment including manuals and whiteboards for examples and were able to break down driving into steps I could grasp with ease. My daughter had her driving lessons with GJM. I contacted them when everything was still backlogged from COVID. I received professional and friendly advice on how to get her provisional license to her sitting her theory before having practical lessons. This sound service carried on throught my daughters full experience, from starting lessons to having her practical test today. All I can say is thank you to the whole team. Mate where do I even start I rang Greg a few months ago after doing my lessons with another company but was bored after a few lessons I met Greg and he has the patience of a saint he genuinely cares about every single person who gets in his car I was a nervous driver and a danger even getting on the bus let alone a car ???? Today I sat my test and passed first time with only 5 minors not only was Greg my driving instructor heâs become my best mate Iâm gunna absolutely miss our lessons and Jenna is amazing Iâve become close with her I couldnât recommend this place enough xx he got my swear words down from 20 to 18 legend I love you x

I began driving lessons with Callum after having a bad experience with another instructor. I was extremely nervous to begin with and found driving extremely scary. During every lesson, Callum made me feel extremely comfortable and provided me with enough knowledge for me to build my confidence each lesson. Any questions I had Callum would answer in great detail and gave me examples of situations in order to help me learn. I enjoyed every lesson!

Seriously incredible driving school. I was so nervous about learning to drive and beforehand it felt like an incredibly daunting task, but after starting my lessons with Gregor I was quickly put at ease by how friendly he was and how he explained everything in a way that really gets your brain working instead of just feeding information that won't end up sticking. If after a lesson there was a clear area that I needed development in, by the end of the next lesson that was entirely boxed off because Gregor would plan the next lesson around what we needed to do and where we optimally needed to be to do it. It was a brilliant journey from start to finish and I enjoyed every moment of it, the entire course felt like it absolutely flew by and before I knew it I'd gained my full independence.If you're looking for a friendly, professional instructor who will do everything they can to train you to be the best driver you possibly can be, then look no further. I truly couldn't recommend GJM enough! ????????

Fantastic school. My son was let down on his birthday when the instructor we had managed to get, cancelled his lesson. GJM and the team came to our rescue and put the biggest smile on my boy's face. 6 months later he passed. GJM have been absolutely amazing I paid for a crash course with a different company. Who screwed me over so called GJM to see if they could help me get a test date and lessons by the end of the phone call I had a lesson plan and a test date. Callum and Gregor have been crucial to my personal development this year. I started my lessons very nervously and struggled often in the early lessons to get my head around certain things. Callum was so patient with me. He kept me calm, motivated, was so encouraging and kind throughout me learning to drive and checking in on me generally. He has taught me to have confidence in myself in all aspects which I cannot thank him enough for. I was constantly pushed to achieve every goal and encouraged every step of the way to passing. Iâve been looked after completely and been shown so much care from day one. They use an app for theory testing, keeping us up to date with lesson planning, progress and reflection of each lesson which is really helpful. They are always on time and professional whilst keeping a fun atmosphere on lessons too. Thank you so much for helping me to achieve my goal!

Seriously incredible driving school. I was so nervous about learning to drive and beforehand it felt like an incredibly daunting task, but after starting my lessons with Gregor I was quickly put at ease by how friendly he was and how he explained everything in a way that really gets your brain working instead of just feeding information that won't end up sticking. If after a lesson there was a clear area that I needed development in, by the end of the next lesson that was entirely boxed off because Gregor would plan the next lesson around what we needed to do and where we optimally needed to be to do it. It was a brilliant journey from start to finish and I enjoyed every moment of it, the entire course felt like it absolutely flew by and before I knew it I'd gained my full independence.If you're looking for a friendly, professional instructor who will do everything they can to train you to be the best driver you possibly can be, then look no further. I truly couldn't recommend GJM enough!

Callum is the best instructor and person i have ever met - It was an absolute privilege to have him teaching me and helping me grow both in my driving and as a person in terms of confidence. - I think any student is lucky to be taught by him and I will carry his teachings with me for the rest of my driving life. - A really great school and an incredible instructor with really fast test turnarounds.

First class School of Motoring. Wouldn't hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend. Gregor spent time, fully explaining services and prices prior to any payment being made. He managed everything from booking the theory test, scheduleing lessons and arranging the practical driving test. The team were briiliant, answering any queries promptly and provided advice and reassurance along the way. One of the things Gregor said before I'd decided to book his services was something like... I had Callum as my instructor, coming from a previous bad instructor I was super nervous but my nerves soon turned to excitement! Every lesson I learnt so much and all whilst having fun, I think it was key to me keep enjoying the lessons due to having a laugh and always feeling like im progressing! I was made to feel so confident and ready for my test a lot sooner than I thought I was going to! I couldnât be more proud of myself! Im so thankful I had Callum as my instructor..it didnât feel like âan instructorâ it actually felt like a friend, being so proud of me for passing! I couldnât recommend this company enough I know for definite that the reason I passed so early was due to the amazing instructor I had! Words can't describe how AMAZING GJM are. 17 years worth of nerves and in 1 week GJM had got my nerves under control, taught me how to drive safely and given me skills I will take with me for life. They took the pressure away, booked my test for me, and in that 1 week I now have a full UK driving lesson. Gregors way of teaching is a fine art, his calming voice helped so much as well as his knowledge on teaching me, how to drive safety and saving on fuel consumption. His time keeping skills are top notch too. Highly recommend ????

I took my driving lessons with Gregor and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only did I pass after just under 2 months, but I loved the time I spent learning with him. Each lesson had a clear purpose and at no point did I feel like I was unsure what I needed to improve as well as how to do so. I found the total drive app we used to be very effective as at the end of each lesson I received a detailed evaluation of my performance along with a plan for the next time out. All of this was compounded by the kind and caring nature of Gregor himself who I felt made every effort to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my driving. The lessons felt less like learning and more like fun as we chatted along the way which really helped make the information stick. I couldnât recommend him enough.

Very friendly and good listener. He will not only teach you to pass your driving test but also teach you to be a safe driver when you are out on your own. Gregor and Callum are both amazing driving instructors!! Both very patient and relaxed which was a big thing for me as I was a nervous driver. Lessons felt comfortable and I was able to progress at my own pace. I have now passed my driving test and from there teachings and words of wisdom I now feel like a confident driver ????I would highly recommend GJM School of Motoring!!

Gregor took me on to do my lessons after I had a bad experience with another local instructor. He was nothing but professional and respectful due to how I had been dealt with in the past. Every lesson I was gaining more knowledge and experience with full trust and confidence from him. Even when I had lots of self doubts on my ability he sensed this and encouraged me to continue and pointed out all the things I could execute well and what he wanted to work with me on. Each lesson was specifically tailored around me and my needs, even if this was talking at me constantly to get used to having my children in the car. Big thanks to GJM School of Motoring who have successfully trained my daughter to pass her test this week. Throughout the process Gregor and her instructor Callum have been fantastic with their support, encouragement, and teaching skills during challenging times due to Covid. Callum really tuned in to how to get the best from my daughter and gave her a lot of confidence to succeed. GJM School of Motoring have so far taught two of my children to drive and I will certainly be looking to them to get my 3rd child through the process in a few years. A great experience, thanks guys.

I started learning with GJM when I wanted to learn manual driving (after getting my automatic licence). At 40 i have just started to take driving lessons, previously i never had the confidence to try to learn and put it off for years. Thanks to Gregor I'm so glad i took the decision to jump in and go for it. From the very first phone call he put me at ease and made me believe I could do it, gave me the material to study for and pass my theory whilst i was waiting for the availability to start lessons. I'm only a few lessons in but finish every lesson on a massive high and looking forward to the next one. I cannot reccomend Gregor highly enough!

After using other driving instructors in previous year, which resulted in a number of failed tests, Gregor is a breath of fresh air. My confidence has grown immensely and Iâm no longer nervous when I get behind the wheel. All credit to Gregor and his teaching methods. Gregor is my daughter's 2nd instructor since learning to drive, her 1st ruined her, confidence and she become anxious days before her lessons.. She would arrive home upset, so much so she would question her ability to ever being able to drive.. Due to her distress i decided to look elsewhere.. No person should be worried n anxious about learning to drive, you should look forward to your lessons and arrive home smiling and excited about your next one... This happened when Gregor took my daughter on, she's now excited and can't wait for her next lesson.. She arrives home smiling and happy about her lesson and is egar to do more... Gregor is so patient and caring towards his pupils, this shines through when my daughter returns... I'm so happy he took her on as he isn't just a driving instructor. My 17yr old son is waiting to start lessons with Gregor, he is looking forward to them because of my daughter,s attitude... I highly recommend him, and rate him as a 5* instructor because of the change in my daughter's confidence now

GJM School of Motoring, Gregor has gone above and beyond to accommodate my lessons/schedule. He's patient to the point of deserving sainthood. Everything is explained in a manner to which the individual can understand. I have great anxieties and the road is a massively daunting place for me . I've had my fair share of panic moments behind the wheel and Gregor has calmed me and give me the confidence to carry on, where I previously would have thrown the towel in. I was doing lessons with Gregor for just over 3 months (did a total of around 37 hours), I donât think I could even think of a bad word to say about him, he was always on time for classes, enthusiastic and possibly one of the greatest teachers Iâve ever had with his experience and depth of knowledge on motoring. I couldnât tell you anyone better in the industry and all I can suggest is try for yourself!
