We use Gerrards to clean our carpet, sofa, and dining chairs every year. Every single time they have been far superior to any other cleaning company. It's clear they are experts in what they do and have decades of experience. The end result is a carpet and furniture that looks brand new every time they have been. I trust Gerrads completely in my home and know that they know what they are doing. Every time they are always completely professional, friendly and polite. Ive recommended to friends and family and they all now use Gerrards too.

Arrived bang on time. Hall and stairs carpets now look like new and they had been very dirty following a kitchen extension. Living room carpet looks incredible now. And we hadnât had it cleaned in years. I would recommend this firm anytime.

Thanks to Gerrards for cleaning my suite, stairs, landing and toy room today. Simon put a huge amount of effort into the cleaning and worked solidly for 4 hours. I am so happy with how it has turned out. The marks on my carpets have been removed and my suite looks brighter and more plumped. I would highly recommend Gerrards for your carpet and upholstery needs!

Just wanted to say thanks to Simon for his work on our sofa (and carpet) today. The sofa has been battered by the kids and it was dirty from our house renovations but it looks and feels clean now. Can hardly see a stain now and we knew it was never going to be perfect as itâs 8 years old. Really pleased and it will do us a few more years now whilst they trash it some more ????????????????????

I am delighted with the work Simon did on my couch. It was pretty grubby with lots of stains as previous owner had 2 dogs and I have cats. Simon kindly tried cleaning the footstool as he was concerned the results might not have been good and he didn't want me spending money needlessly. I'm glad to say the test gave a good result so he cleaned the sofa. He worked quickly and tidily and achieved a very high standard of cleaning. The price was very reasonable and as stated on booking I would definitely recommend Simon and go back to Gerrard's as it is clearly a professional company in every way as the customer service from Sharon was also exceptional.

Highly satisfied with all aspects of this company, from booking to completion of the work. Professional and friendly. They take the time to ask if you have any particular requests about the cleaning of your carpets. Courteous of your furniture and my carpets were pristine when they had finished and no shrinkage. Drying time is only a couple of hours. I would not hesitate to recommend this friendly and professional family business.

Cannot praise and recommend this Company enough. I have 3 dogs and used to get my carpets and rugs cleaned regularly for £40/50 they never looked much different when they dried. My carpets are now two shades lighter and my rug is as it was when I bought it. You get what you pay for with this Company.

Good advice on my original phone call and provided with a price immediately. The quality of the clean was amazing. Our carpet must be a good ten years old and was looking very sad and in need of replacement, but it seems pointless while our little dog (and his muddy paws) is still with us. He compounded this by vomiting on it and despite our best efforts, we could not get rid of the smell, hence the call to Gerrards. Two hours after arrival we are left with a carpet that has gone from an embarrassment and in need of replacement to one which looks good to last us another three years at least. I canât say that it looks like a new carpet, it lacks the fluffiness. It certainly looks like a sparkling clean âyoungâ carpet. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I have rung two family members already to get them to book a clean. Thank you Gerrards.

Since my last review, as advised by Simon the stain returned to the surface. I contacted Gerrards to advise and Simon came back to review and have another go, again when left the carpet looked clean but again I was advised it may return, 3 visits later each time leaving the carpet looking clean, Simon has left me with a carpet I am completely happy with but was quite prepared to return again or give me a report to take to my insurers. I WILL be using Gerrards again and would highly recommend. Thanks to both Sharon and Simon for a fantastic service

I cannot thank Gerrards enough. I contacted them at short notice and just before Christmas. Sharon happily accommodated us; weâd just had work finished at our house and I was due home from hospital after having a baby. Weâve had the carpet cleaned before but not to the level of Gerards - it looked like it did when it was first fitted! I was going to replace it with flooring but Iâll just have it cleaned from now on! Thank you :)

I donât know from where to start them guys are professional I was not believing my husband who booked them and didnât let me hire the machine from shop he said you will see the magic and it truly was magic. They made my hall way carpet sparkly clean and back to life again. It was super dirty and we either had to change the carpet or choose the option to get that cleaned from some professional. We had a felt tip pen mark on some light upholstery on an arm chair. We were warned that it wasn't a certainty that the mark would be removed, and unfortunately it wasn't. However the chair and an additional three seater sofa were beautifully cleaned. We didn't realise how much in need of a clean the sofa was until it had been done! Courteous, efficient service from the first phone call onwards. Simon arrived promptly, explained what he had done in the unsuccessful attempts to remove the felt tip stain, and offered to leave the dryers with us overnight, However this wasn't needed. By next morning the cushions were all dry enough to put back on the furniture. An excellent service which we wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I had heavy amounts of oil throughout my hallway carpet. I called the office, i was given excellent advice taken care of on the call. I was able to be squeezed in during a busy week. Simon came to my property on the 16th September to clean my carpets in the house and my sofa. Simon did a brilliant job the carpets look like new and back to the original colour same with the sofa and everything smells so lovely and clean. The process from start to finish was brilliant the lady we spoke to on the phone was lovely to talk to and she spent lots of time trying to get the best appointment for me. I also received an email before to confirm my date and time and what would be required of me. Overall, a fantastic service and would definitely recommend to others.

We recently had Gerardâs Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners out to clean our living room couches, they had been quite badly marked by our messy 5- and 3-year-old boys. The technician Simon was professional, punctual and super knowledgeable about everything couch cleaning related! By the time Simon had finished our couches, cushions and footstool looked and smelled brand new! Simon then gave me a number of tips around how to manage stains when they happen again and a bottle of stain remover which will come in super handy in this house! Don't waste your time with any hired unit as we have in the past, Gerrards are the only option for us now. Our carpets are pristine again and it feels like a fresh new home. 2 weeks ago I had some rugs that had been in the attic uncovered for around 10 yrs....to be honest I didn't really expect much but wow! The result was astounding. Right from first contact Sharon was so helpful, polite, professional and patient as I had many queries. The whole process was so easy ...which was appreciated. All covid procedures were put in place and this made me feel comfortable. Simon arrived and again was so professional and polite. He even went above and beyond when a heavy parcel was unexpectedly delivered and brought it in ! The prices were astounding and it was no bother when I asked for an extra clean on a small area at the last minute. Simon also left a spot stain remover which i have since used and again it is top notch quality I cannot thank Simon and Sharon enough I don't think they realise how worried and nervous I was initially but the whole experience was brilliant. The up most care was taken to protect the skirting boards, furniture and most importantly the carpets. This was a fantastic experience right through from booking to completing the incredibly thorough cleaning of our lounge sofas and footstool, along with scatter cushions and a wool rug. The sofa has taken some hard wear with two young boys trampling over it. There were lots of stains on the footstool and they literally made it look like it was brand new. The sofas also came up like new and they worked really hard on my wool rug to make it look great. The father/daughter team were also incredibly honest and offered to just do a patch test on the rug & sofas first to check they would come up as clean as I had hoped before committing to the job, which I thought was very decent of them. They also warned me about the drying time and explained how I should leave them to dry naturally, which was helpful. I was in no rush for them to dry, but they were keen to explain it could take at least 4-6 hours, which was perfectly fine as my own common sense would have told me it could be at least 10 hours or so before I would expect to be able to sit on them again.I would 100% recommend this company as they were professional, honest and really tried their absolute best going over my sofa twice to ensure I got the result they wanted me to have.Thank you so much for great job!

Having taken over a pub and completing major renovations inside I thought the carpets may have been beyond recovery by cleaning. Gerrards came highly recommended to me by my sister who had used them previously, so I gave it a go not expecting much. They were incredibly professional and very reasonably priced. They arrived when they said they would and the carpets came up like new. The equipment they use is amazing and the carpets dried very quickly. I saw the 80 gallons of liquid extracted from the carpet and it looked like engine oil. I highly recommend Gerrards, give them a go, they saved me a fortune and even returned the following day to give me a bottle of hard floor cleaner.

We had our carpets cleaned for the first time by Gerrards today after our old ones retired. The service provided was excellent. The procedures in place for social distancing were sent prior to the appointment and followed to the later on arrival. Simon arrived on time and we spoke about the job first. The carpet was heavily soiled and has been cleaned like new. Simon gave some great advice about carpets and how to keep them until he returns in future. He also left us with a bottle of professional stain remover and 2 bottles of anti viral hand sanitizer. I cannot recommend this company highly enough in fact I have already recommended 2 new customers since the visit. If you have any carpet cleaning issues I would highly recommend Gerrards.

Second time I've had my front room stairs and landing carpet done by Gerrards. Can't fault them, they turn up on time, they're professional, efficient, friendly and, I think, very good value for money. My carpet was in a right state after recently redoing the garden and some of the dirt ending up in the house, I also have a dog that likes to eat food on the carpet so it was no small job but the carpets look like new again. I won't hesitate to have them back when it nest needs doing. For the price they charge and the results you get it isn't even worth attempting it yourself.

First class service when booking the dates suitable to the areas being able to be made accessible, Sharon was able to move their schedule around to suit our dates, guidance was given on the movement of furniture etc to the point that I was assured that everything would be moved by the technician on the day. Very prompt arrival on the day and after a quick check the access areas were protected and the work was completed most efficiently. I did ask for a additional area to cleaned and this was done after the main carpets had been finished.Overall this was a first class service done with exceptional thoroughness and I would recommend Gerrards without hesitation..

I didn't believe in miracles - until the Gerrards came and cleaned just about every piece of upholstery in the house. The dogged determination with which they tackled removing stains from carpets and cushions was something to behold. Everything they cleaned now looks as good as new. Completely transformed our carpet. We have a cat, a cocker spaniel and we live on a building site. Our carpet takes a battering. No amount of vanish carpet gold made a difference, not for the lack of trying. Gerrard's fit us in really quickly (at our unreasonable request), they charged a reasonable price and they're fine for moving furniture at our convenience. Now our carpet looks brand new again and we are feeling much more house proud. Will only use Gerrard's moving forward!

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. My carpets were cleaned using professional equipment and were left looking like brand new. Why risk choosing an inferior carpet cleaner who may shrink, soak or generally ruin your carpet when for a very reasonable cost you can have the job done by professionals. Simon and Kerry were courteous, friendly and made sure I was happy with the job before they left. An added bonus is they leave you with a bottle of stain remover, which worked miracles when my husband previously spilled red wine on our very light lounge carpet! I would never consider using anyone else.

Don't normally leave reviews, but felt I had too in this case. An excellent father and daughter customer orientated business. I have to say that from start to finish all they had in mind was customer satisfaction. Bedroom, Lounge, hall, stairs and landing Carpets and 3 & 2 seater suite were all cleaned in under 2 hours. Once complete they looked and felt like new carpets and suite. If you are looking to have your upholstery and/or carpets cleaned, you cannot afford to go anywhere else. Very highly recommend Gerrards, who made everything effortless and only had the customer in mind at all times.

Great value for money. The lady was really friendly and the job was done in less time than I expected. My front room carpet was a bit of a mess before but that and the stairs and landing have come up like new. So so pleased and will be booking again for my bedroom and sofa soon. They rang the day before to confirm the appointment was still ok for me and they also gave an hours time slot for arrival when booking and turned up in that hour which I was very happy with. All the people I spoke to on the phone were really helpful and I can't fault the service or the results. Would highly recommend!

Great job !! Had my hall, stairs and landing carpet cleaned by Gerrardââ¬â¢s. We have recently had a fundraiser at home with 70+ people present which took its toll on a creamy coloured carpet- generally grubby and some stains from spills !! The carpet looks wonderful, clean and springy to walk on ! Excellent service, friendly and very affordable, completed in just over an hour. All dry by that evening. The father and daughter team of Simon and Kerry were both very professional and very friendly. I must admit I engaged Gerrards because they are a small family firm and came highly recommended by the Wigan Trusted Trader Scheme. Also when I initially rang and spoke to Sharon, (wife and mother) she gave me a lot of confidence in Gerrards. They use up to date equipment and have many years experience.I particularly liked the fact that the owner, Simon would be doing the work. I am absolutely delighted with the cleaning work carried out on my two 3 seater sofas and a chair. It was a pleasant surprise that they did the matching cushions as I had not expected them to be part of the job. I would DEFINITELY ask Gerrards to come to my home again and I would DEFINITELY recommend them to any one needing cleaning work carried out. So Gerard's did a Facebook competition.. the prize was ã70 worth of Capet cleaning for FREE! I entered and I won! Not only did they do my whole living room but they also did my hall stairs and landing! What can I say the results are amazing! The staff were so polite and helpful.. I didn't need to do anything at all.. and was all complete within an hour! My carpet looks and smells brand new! I am more than happy with my results.. We have used this company on a number of occasions, and a pink dralon suite came up sparkling. On this occasion we asked them to clean a cream chair which had been dirtied on removal, and our elderly dog had fouled an area in the sitting room. Both areas difficult to clean, and they were upfront about getting this kind of stain out but we decided to go ahead. He kept working on the areas, and the results were more than satisfactory. My husband had walked in dirty oil and then, not realising, had transferred it on to the carpet. We had no success removing the stains and was convinced we would have to replace the carpet. I chose Gerrards because they were a local family business and from the good reviews on their website, but mainly on enquiring about their service (My previous experiences of carpet cleaning firms had not been satisfactory - infact disasterous) I spoke to Sharon Gerrard she was so professional kind,friendly & enthusiastic about what their business was all about - she put my mind at rest. She provided me with a quote there & then. Yesterday Simon arrived punctually he was very professional, very smartly dressed and very polite & friendly - he spent 4 hours dilligently cleaning my carpet and suite. He took my Persian Rug away for cleaning off-site & in a few days when it is dry he will bring it back again and help us to lay it again. My previous experience of carpet cleaning firms has not been particularly satisfactory and I have never used the same firm twice. Simon Gerrard cleaned our carpets on the above date and the results are excellent.The cleaning system Mr Gerrard uses is by far the best and I have no complaints about the standard of his work which he carried out thoroughly and efficiently. I found them to be very punctual and efficient with very friendly service. The standard to which my carpet was cleaned after a teenage party was exceptional as I thought the carpet was beyond cleaning. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. Five stars all around.

I booked Gerrards after reading all the high recommendations on the website and I just wanted to say - they were fantastic. Came at 11.15 (early) and was packing up by 12.45 after cleaning through a lounge, hallway, stairs and landing. The gentleman had a very pleasant manner. He was helpful enquiring about any stains and did his best to remove them. I was very pleased with the end result and would recommend the company to anyone. I went round to my dads on his 78th birthday 5 Nov to find him and his wife trying to clean a carpet where radiator had leaked sludge. They had hired a carpet cleaner and got most if the water up but to say they were in panic and stressed is an understatement. I rang Gerrards and Sharon spoke at length to my dad putting his mind at rest. She then arranged for Simon to go round to clean the carpet as soon as it was completely dry. Not only did they do an excellent job on the carpet, but Sharon put my dads mind at rest, taking away some of his stress. Thanks. Gerrards to the rescue!

The yong man who cleaned my carpets did a really good job. He was very professional & was neat & tidy in his dress. I did not have to move heavy furniture and was very helpful in his approach to the job he was doing. Would have him again.

Gerrards Carpet Cleaners came and cleaned my stairs and landing carpet, Simon was excellent and my carpet has never been as clean, it looked brand new. I was even left a little bottle of stain remover which I have used. Having two dogs and working from home myself, my stairs are used constantly. i would definitely recommend this company. In fact seven months later I am gonna ring them again 5*!
