Fantastic service from Chris, extremely professional just got on with the work and was very quick. Easy to talk to and really friendly. Tiling was fantastic very neat and clean, would highly recommend.Had previously had someone start the job but unfortunately it was terrible so was recommended Chris who came and gave a fair quote for the work. He had to remove most of the previous tiling and re-use the tile he could and clean up the bit of tiling that was acceptable to keep up. Needless to say Chrisâs work was a lot better than the guy we had originally, very pleased.

An extensive bathroom renovation, 2 walls knocked down to allow toilet and new large shower cubicle to be installed as well as new bath and vanity sink unit. Into one area. All new wall and floor tiling , ceiling panels, lighting and two radiators done to a high standard. Chris and Dec were hard workers and helpful throughout.

Chris carried out replacement of our cracked shower tray. He covered all the staircase in protective covering before starting work and then proceeded to remove the shower screen/door etc before removing the old shower tray. He also replaced the floor section underneath before installing the new shower base. After that he refitted the shower screen and applied the necessary sealant were needed. All work carried out in a professional manner to a high Standard of finish. We were very pleased with all the work carried out and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Chris completely revamped our bathroom, removing the bath, installing a walk-in shower and retiling the floor. From providing the quotation to the end result he kept in touch, arrived on time every day and was polite, helpful and knowledgeable, as was his colleague Dec. Chris repaired some leaking bath taps for us that had caused a crack in our kitchen ceiling. He was able to complete the repair within a few days of his initial quote and was clear at explaining the cause of the issue and what was needed to fix it. Iâm delighted with the work Chris has just done to repair a leak from my auntâs upstairs bathroom which looked like it had been flowing down the side of the house for a while before we discovered it. He returned my call quickly and offered to come round as soon as possible. He and his assistant worked hard for three hours to replace the faulty piping, and this was not a straightforward job, as much of the piping was in the roof cavity of a dormer extension and was not easy to get at. My aunt was pleased that a worrying situation for her was sorted so quickly, efficiently and without fuss, and I am very happy to recommend an excellent plumber.

Chris (CL Bathrooms) took over the replacement of our wet room after we had been badly let down and in a total mess by the person who pulled out our original wet room. He was calm, confident and inspired confidence that he could complete the work to a high standard. Because of the previous poor workmanship, there were obstacles and Chris dealt with all these in his capable, unflappable manner. Our now completed wet room is perfect. The workmanship by CL Bathrooms is amazing. I thoroughly recommend this company. Chris is a very neat and tidy workman and we were never left with a mess. Additionally, Chris and his apprentice are extremely pleasant, polite people who turned up on time and worked until at least 5pm everyday. Great company, excellent work and amazing completed job.

Chris installed an under stairs toilet, sink, vanity unit and heated towel rail for us in an area previously used just for storage. He tiled the walls with our choice of tiles and completed all the work to a very high standard. He was punctual and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

If I was allowed to give Chris ten stars then I would. Chris had spent time replacing a radiator on the morning of 16 Dec 2022 and told me how he was looking forward to spending some time with his family over the weekend. Later that evening at teatime I heard running water and discovered a nasty burst in my garage. I isolated the pipe via somewhat dodgy isolation valves and spent the evening clearing the water etc. I then tried to contact my 24/7 emergency insurance provider to no avail . Eventually I gave up and set my mind to trying to trace a plumber the next morning 17 Dec 2022. After a pretty restless night I woke at 6.30 and although I felt pretty bad about it sent a text to Chris asking for help. He replied straight away and said he would be over. 20 minutes later he text again and said he was on his way. He repaired two bursts in separate pipes and replaced the dodgy isolation valves. That is service. That is someone who cares about people and takes pride in what he does. I cannot speak too highly of Chris and can thoroughly recomend him. Thanks Chris

We have used Chris twice now, once to do the en-suite and once to fit the cloakroom. His advice and expertise is immeasurable. His work is to the highest standard. In difficult times, Chris provided an excellent service from start to finish. Sourcing materials was tricky at times as stock and delivery dates kept changing. CL Bathrooms are amazing and the review I am going to do does not give him enough praise. Chris took my old bathroom out and we discovered rising damp as itâs in my basement. At that point any bathroom guy would have just walked away and said you need to get that sorted before I carry on. With the pandemic that could have been months. CL Bathrooms managed to use his connections to get someone in to do the work within days and then carried on and completed my bathroom to a very high standard. I canât thank him enough. I am not one for recommending people as I donât want think to come back on me if they go wrong but I have no problem at all in recommending CL Bathrooms as I know all work is done to a high standard. Everyone who has seen the bathroom says gives high praise. If you need a bathroom get CL Bathrooms to complete it. Thanks Chris for your hard work.

The hinge on the toilet seat snapped on 27.12.2020. Panic , because I thought the flush to wall toilet would need to be removed to access the fitting. Phoned Chris who quickly re assured me that the hinge is fitted from the top and he then spent two days searching the web to identify the toilet and find a replacement seat. No traders open until 4 January. We agreed that I would try and get new hinges on 4 Jan from the original supplier for what is a very expensive toilet and seat. Success and I phoned Chris to let nim know and he agreed to call on 5 Jan late afternoon. Unfortunately he was in the thick of it sorting out a flood but he kept me informed and said he would call on the 6th after work. True to his word he came and replaced the hinges. I had been concerned about doing it myself in case I applied too much force and damaged the toilet. What a good job I waited because one of the bolts had seized and it was only due to Chriss expertise that he was able to remove it. Chris is a good honest trader who ls very experienced at what he does and will try to do his best to help. I cannot speak too highly of him.

On Friday 25 August I discovered a small damp area on a ceiling below the bathroom. A plumber responded within two hours diagnosed the problem and left without carrying out the repair saying he would return on the Monday but failed to do so and never to be seen again. A neighbour who is a pluimber was able to repair the leak a week later but by then the damage was done. It had been very difficult to engage a plumber. The floor tiles in the bathroom came loose and I needed them to be lifted to check for any damage below them and then for them to be reset. I rang five bathroom fitters/tilers who either said they had too much work or promised to call and never did. Eventually I found Chris who agreed to come and look at the job. As promised he arrived at the agreed time and we agreed that he would carry out the work as soon as possible and that he would supply the floor tiles. Chris arrived on 16 November and completed the job to a very high standard on 18 November. Not only did he repair the floor he also made adjustments to a boxed in cistern to enable easier access in the future. He never stopped working apart from his lunch break and worked for 10 hours on two of the days. He left everywhere tidy each day and even hoovered the stairs before he left. This was not as simple a job as it sounds and required utmost care and patience, especiaaly in removing the old tiles. . Chris is obviously very experienced and knowledgeable in what he does as well as being a very easy person to talk with. Whilst my experience with the others was dissapointing and frustrating It was well worth the wait to discover Chris who was so willing to help and very competetent at what he does. A true professional and a gentleman

Chris did a complete bathroom refurb and installed a new bathroom for me. He was very knowledgeable and provided advice on design. There were a few delays due to COVID and this was with suppliers but Chris cracked on with the job! He was very tidy and advised where he was up to, checking on detail when needed, ensuring I was satisfied with it. I was very pleased with the end result and can't fault his work. He is trustworthy and honest, and a trader I would not hesitate to recommend!

Contacted Chris re a problem where I felt my hot water tank may be emptying and burning out which would be a potential fire hazard. Promo reply? Chris took on board all the information that I provided and gave me advice (with a view to a visit if required). The advice and guidance has worked. My electric shower needs replacing soon and I will be contacting him again. I wanted to pay for the advice, or make a charitable donation but he would accept no payment. Would recommend him. He was under no obligation to give free advice.

I contacted Chris round about the 26th July regarding a serious leak in the shower and bathroom sink. Although he was in the middle of a job he found time to come and have a look to see what was required (other people contacted could not give a date or ignored my phone call). On investigation the shower leak was more serious than first thought, the sink was a quick job and was sorted. The shower had to be disconnected until Chris could come and fix it. He was most concerned that we would have no shower for a few days but was reassured as we were ex caravanners and campers and we would be fine. He completed the job a week later to a high standard. The overall bill was modest and came as a pleasant surprise..

Using his wealth of experience, Chris helped us design our bathroom. He removed all trace of our old and fitted out the new from top to bottom, including necessary reconfiguring of pipework. Even managed to get to us during the snow. Excellent customer service in removing all rubbish. Chris is definitely a grafter and we are extremely pleased with the results. A very reasonable quote and a first class job. I have no hesitation in recommending Chris to friends, family and work colleagues when they are in need of a reliable, friendly and most important, trustworthy plumber.. We did have a couple of hiccups but all was sorted out and the bathroom has changed from being scruffy broken bits, to somewhere that looks like an expensive hotel.

Wigan Good Trader Scheme was a hit for us when we found Chris from CL Bathrooms. We liked him the first time he met us to provide a quote for work to be carried out. He is meticulous in his approach, a very conscientious worker and as a result we have a fantastic new bathroom. There were hiccups from suppliers along the way, not Chrisâs doing but dealt with in a professional manner. Chris refurbished an en-suite (resolving a long standing issue), did a complete bathroom installation and a downstairs toilet upgrade. He did a fantastic job, went out of his way to help in so many ways that we could not fault his work and attitude to doing the job not just to our requirements but to his own high standards. I admit we had to wait because he is very busy but it was well worth it. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending his work.

Chris and George removed our old bathroom and fitted a brand new shower room with fully tiled walls and built in cupboard. They were polite, hard-working, punctual, reliable and professional. They treat your home with respect and endeavour to keep disruption and mess to a minimum. Chris gave advice on the best use of the available space and the subsequent layout. Even when there were delays with the supplier Chris worked around it. They even sorted a leaky radiator and kitchen sink. The whole family loves the new shower room. I would highly recommend them.

Chris and George did a fantastic job in transforming our ageing small bathroom into a bathroom we are extremely delighted with. From meeting Chris during the initial quotation stage and receiving his quote as and when he said he would provide it, myself and my wife didn't hesitate in accepting his quote after comparing it to others we had recieved. Immediately we got the feeling that it was a very fair quote and that we would get the bathroom we asked for. We were not dissapointed. In less than 7 days the job was complete to what we were quoted for and we could not fault the hard work, time taken or the quality of the work. On hearing of the dilemma that my elderly mother and farther were in, the fact that there toilet was leaking terribly due to the ceramic cistern being cracked. Chris of CL bathrooms responded immediately and suggested that they need a new toilet, as it was unrepairable. My mother didn't like the idea of a mismatched toilet against the exsisting almond suit, Chris suggested to fit a temporary white toilet whilst he sourced an almond toilet that was a perfect match for the bathroom suit. Mum and dad were over the moon with the quality and the suburb service that they received. Would highly recommend CL bathrooms and thinking of using them myself.

We recently had our bathroom completely replaced from floor to ceiling. Cl Bathrooms were recommended to us by a friend and we invited Chris for a chat. From the planning stage we were made to feel at ease and every question was answered. Chris suggested improvements to our initial ideas resulting in a shower room which has exceeded our hopes and expectations. Don't be put off if you have to wait a while, Chris is extremely busy, a testament to his skills, it's worth the wait. Chris, ably assisted by apprentice George are polite, punctual and professional. They cleared up every day before going home and we were never left overnight without a toilet. Chris has provided an excellent service, from initial consultations (and there were more than one); close communication throughout the project(which was a total bathroom refit - down to new drylining of walls; new tiled floor; new false ceiling with led downlights; vanity unit, floating cupboard; thermostatic shower; new bath and led mirror). Everything was done with skill, and no small measure of pride I felt - Chris (and his excellent apprentice George) took their time to create a bathroom that looks a million dollars - exactly what the client ordered, and more. I have no hesitation in recommending them both. They were punctual, constantly open to discussion about aspects of the work; explained various issues and reasons for how and why the work was being done in a particular manner, and I was quite happy to leave them in my home to get on with the work. I would suggest that Chris is at the top of his game. George was also polite, helpful and they both cleared up daily. If you need bathroom work undertaking I would request their services right now!!

I contacted Chris using the good trader scheme, because I was happy with the comments left by other people. I contacted Chris and he arrived that evening to look at the work I wanted done and he gave me his professional advice on what would work, gave me a reasonable quote, ordered what we needed and gave me a date to commence the work within three weeks the job was completedChris arrived punctually and worked extremely hard, his quality of work and attention to detail was excellent, his advice was invaluable in sorting out the problems we were experiencing. He was a tidy worker and always cleared up at the end of the day and took away all the rubbish.I would have no hesitation in recommending him to my friends and family and would contact him again should I need his services.

Chris stepped in when i had been let down by another tradesman to rejuvenate my bathroom.The work was carried out to a vey high standard with little disruption and any little extra problems that appeared he advised and dealt with as well. Very happy with the price quoted - much better than the cost of a new bathroom another tradesman had quoted!! Will certainly use agaain and have already recommended to a neighbour.

Chris carried out a complete bathroom refurbishment and modernisation at a property I rent out. His quality of work was excellent, in addition his advice and design recommendations turned a basic family bathroom into a bathroom with the "wow" factor, all within the budget that we had set. The high standard of work has enabled me to raise the rent on the property. Needless to say that the new tenants are also delighted with the results Chris advised
