Phil recently installed a new boiler for us and every aspect of the work and service he provided was excellent. Heâs extremely knowledgeable, professional, organised and works to a very high standard. Heâs friendly & reliable, and takes time to explain things and provide advice. I cannot recommend Phil highly enough.

Honestly mega impressed , we have had some shocking plumbers in the past, and this company blew me away , professional, punctual and fixed the problem on first visit.Was proactive and bought the potential part the morning of visiting later that day, even though it may not of been that, came late afternoon as promised. so no waiting for a week and more hassle, sorted that day.Has been perfect ever since , Thankyou! Highly recommend and I'm hard to impress !!!

Phil came to fit a new bath after ours cracked. He gave us lots of excellent advice, including how to save money and do some of the preparation ourselves. He is very professional and does the job right, not cutting any corners. He was punctual and finished ahead of time. We are very happy with the finished result and would certainly call on him next time we have a plumbing problem. Thank you Phil!

I contacted C&A Hornby after discovering we had a gas leak. Phil bent over backwards to assist with locating the leak. He made sure we were reconnected safely after locating the leak. He was prompt in attending and cleared up after the work was carried out

Phil from C and A Hornby has been our plumber/heating engineer/bathroom installer of choice ever since he was recommended to us by a neighbour. Over recent years he has replaced our boiler and refurbished our en suite. Today he has completed the refurbishment of our main bathroom to an exceptionally high standard. He always provides a highly professional service and we place the highest level of confidence in him. He is extremely organised and works systematically with a high level of pride in the job. Phil installed a new boiler whilst we were away. All debris from the previous boiler was removed. The house was lovely and warm when we returned - very important in the middle of winter. Phil correctly diagnosed the reason for our central heating boiler suddenly breaking down. He fitted a part quickly and got it running the next day. He also fitted a new wifi Honeywell thermostat for the central heating and helped me through the set up procedure on my phone and said he was only on the other end of the phone if there was something I didn`t understand. We are very pleased with both pieces of work. Phil has served us equally well with past jobs as well. He is a very good workman and meets any crisis promptly.

I would very highly recommend Phil for any plumbing job. He completely refurbished my bathroom, including moving the bath and toilet as well as installing a new shower unit, new sink and new radiator. The new layout is a much better use of the space overall. He also laid new flooring, put up a new ceiling and lights, completely tiled the walls, capped off the soil pipe and installing a digital shower and bath filling system.Communication with Phil was brilliant before, during and after the refurb. Despite coming across several problems due to previous fittings of the bathroom, the quote he gave me at the beginning stayed the same. He did the complete job in 10 working days and always left the house clean and tidy.Thank you Phil!

Phil has completed a few jobs for me. Installed a new boiler, a new shower and several other plumbing improvements. He also does a regular service on my heating system. On every occasion he is completely reliable and works to a high standard. Even fitting in an emergency job the day before his holiday. There cannot be any heating engineers that would look after their customers so well.

It was somewhat of an emergency call that I made as both my dishwasher and washing machine were not completing their cycle. . I contacted C&A Hornby. They re- assured me that it would be okay and that they would be with me within a couple of hours and the problem was soon solved. I will certainly be using them again.

The service we have received by C & A Hornby over the years has been excellent. Always on time for appointments, well presented, keeps you informed of work being carried out. When we decided to replace our boiler he visited to discuss various types available, pros & cons etc. when decision was made and date arranged there were no interruptions from start to finish and at the end of each day he cleared everything away. a very pleasant and professional person to have in your home
