I have used Berrys on numerous occasions, last year for repointing two side walls and this year for reroofing the whole bungalow. They have always done a superb job, arrived punctually, worked hard and been a pleasure to deal with. In particular, I cannot praise Dave highly enough. He always goes the extra mile and I have complete trust in him. I would not consider using any other firm.

This is the third time I have used BA Berry for roofing work. Once again they were prompt, efficient, professional and friendly. The job was completed within 24 hours of my initial phone call and at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent customer service and communication. It is good to know that companies like this still exist , trustworthy , honest and great service from my initial phone call to completion of work. I arranged this work for my Mum , she had several cowboy companies attend and quote up to 9,000 thousand pounds for simple lead flashing replacement. Dave and his team from Berryâs provided honest and straight forward advice and carried out the work within days of attending to survey. The customer service provided by Lana was also excellent. Thanks to you all it was much appreciated . I would recommend Berryâs very highly to anyone.

A very prompt and efficient service to fix a leaking roof. I contacted B A Berry at 4pm on 9th October and the work was completed by 11am on 10th October before the anticipated rain came. No messing just, prompt, friendly yet professional service at a very reasonable cost. This is the second time I have used B A Berry and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Garage conversion, involved rebuilding and relaying foundations. Completed through to electrical work, floor, ceiling and plastering.Dave and his team worked brilliantly, they took a pride in their work, and kept us updated throughout, liaising with Building Regs and kept us updated with photo's.The end result has made it one of the the nicest rooms in the property. Thanks to everyone, you are a credit to the company!

Excellent service from Dave and Anthony. They gave good advice, explained what work was needed and provided an estimate in a reasonable time frame. They turned up on the arranged day to remove a redundant sky dish from one chimney stack and repointed and recapped another chimney stack and they cleaned up after the work was completed. We are pleased with the quality of work undertaken and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Excellent service from the 4 builders who worked on our extension. One of the only tradesmen who have ever turned up on time when they said they would! Weâre very happy with the extension, itâs perfect, exactly what we asked for. The builders were friendly and kept us updated daily on where they were up to. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends and family.

Chose BA Berry from the Good Trader scheme to replace a couple of lintels and repoint back wall of an extension. They arrived as arranged and completed the work without any problems, although there was a lot of dust, they cleaned everything up before they left. Would recommend them for any building maintenance/repairs. Very pleased.

From initial meeting to finishing work, Anthony, Dave and the team were excellent. Gave sound advice, explained the necessary work and offered a fair quote. They replaced ancient garage roof and window, replaced soffit and guttering and tackled some interior work too. The hard-working team were really nice people, cheerful and polite. When they left there was no sign that builders had been on site. We are delighted with the result and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Anthony provided excellent customer service from start to finish. We had two sun tunnels fitted and the lads who installed them got stuck in straightaway and had the job finished in no time. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone needing building or roofing work. Im sure you would not be disappointed.

I contacted Mr Berry on behalf of my parents who had a hole in the kitchen ceiling that had been letting in rain water for the last 6mths. They were nervous to allow more trades men into the house as the previous roofer had not sorted the problem and had kept promising to return to reassess the work but never did. I contacted Mr Berry for a quote to repair the roof hole in the kitchen ceiling and also to clad and put new ceiling lights in the room. He turned up on time and talked both me and my parents through the options and came up with a reasonable quote that my parents were happy with. He promised he would start the job in 2 weeks and he was as good as his word. His team turned up on time and did not stop work for 2 and half days. They were considerate and professional and provided a safe environment for my parents within pandemic restrictions. When I came to see the finished job there was no evidence of any trades people having been on the property, every bit of rubbish had been removed. My parents are thrilled with the finished job. I would highly recommend MR Berry and his team , they have certainly restored my faith in the trade. All of his team are truly skilled and professional individuals.

Services expertly provided to repair leaking front bay roof by stripping off existing roof and re-felting. Also further job supplying new leading and repointing at the rear of the property. Good service received from the initial phone call dealt with by Lisa to the work completed by Dave and his team. Dave arrived promptly for both the estimate and on the day of the repairs as arranged. Everybody was polite and hard working, cleaning up when finished and completed all the work the same day. Would recommend and use again.

Very prompt attention after the initial enquiry. The job was fitted in for the Saturday after our enquiry on the previous Monday. An assessment was made by Anthony on Monday 14th September, materials arrived on the Saturday morning following and the work was completed by mid afternoon. The quality of work was first class, the lads who did the job were efficient, knowledgeable and very hard working. They were also very pleasant people to have working on our house. To us the work appeared very complicated but they took it in their stride and the finished work surpassed all our expectations. If we required any more building related work they would be the first firm we would call. Thank you very much to Anthony and his team!

Replacement of lintels, estimate submitted promptly. Work completed on time. The team came and got straight on with the job. They cleaned up after themselves each day, and on the final day, even washed down the windows and gave the paving a through clean. If we need any building work completed in the future Anthony and his team will be the first people we will contact.

Leaking roof repaired, came early due to weather forecast. The guys went above and beyond, not only fixed the leak but sorted another problem on the roof while they were up there. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently and they cleared up after that had finished. Highly recommended and I will be using them in the future for anything that comes up.

I was referred to B A Berry by a friend of mine who'd recently had some building works done at their work place. I spoke to Anthony Berry and he immediately came to my house to discuss the work required. The next day he gave me a quote for a single story extension with a vaulted roof, he advised me that he could start the work within the next 2 weeks, I asked how long the work would take and he told me 2-3 weeks depending on the weather. I agreed to go ahead with him straight away because I found him to be very transparent and he was confident in the way he explained the work needed. He put me directly on to the building regulator and they had the drawings done within a few days. The work was completed within the 3 weeks and was to an excellent standard. On time and on budget, thank you to B A Berry builders.

Following recent very heavy rainfall my roof sprung a leak and water poured in. I rang Anthony a left a message, he returned my call without delay. The following morning at 8am David and his team arrived on my doorstep and by 8: 30 am the leak had been repaired and David was on his way. What can I say about service like that apart fro excellent. My house had been broken into whilst I was on holiday. Anthony boarded up the broken window quickly and effectively to prevent any other occurrences. He also arranged for my windows to be replaced immediately. The standard of the repair work was excellent and was done quickly. I was charged a very fair price for the job and am extremely pleased with the result. Excellent service!

My bay window roof was leaking and had also damaged the ceiling plaster. I rang B A Berrys for a quote. They came out to quote at the time they said they would and gave me a very competative price. Dave one of their tradesmen came to my house on the time and date agreed. He replaced all my tiles with a new membrain and tiles. He repointed the affected areas,replaced the flashing and made the roof water tight again. The plasterer arrived after Dave had completed replacing the plaster boarding and completed the work. The whole job was finished the same day. Dave then walked me through the repairs ensuring I was happy with the work, which I was. I was very impressed with the punctuallity, quality of the work, price and time scale of the works carried out. I would highly recommend B A Berry Builders and Roofers as a trusted trader to anyone.

Berryâs installed a Velux light tunnel in our dining room. Unforeseen problems with a previous renovation on the cottage meant the installation could not be completed on the original date. However, the guys would not leave us without the job completed by Christmas and arranged to come on Sunday 23rd and finished the job. Very impressed by this commitment to their customers. It was also an atrocious day weather wise to work outside, but the guys persevered and finished the job with the minimum of fuss and mess. I would highly recommend Berryâs and will definitely use them for any future work we require on the Cottage

The guys were really polite and great workers. This is the second time we used them as they did such a brilliant job on our outhouse wall and driveway we wanted them back to complete our Utility room. Once we had agreed a date, the work was completed very quickly to an exceptionally high standard. The work was hampered by access issues, so all materials had to be brought in by hand. The builders worked tirelessly, and I could not be happier with the results. Looking to get a conservatory built by them in the future!

We had been struggling to find a builder for our extension (adding dormers and adding 2nd floor over existing first floor extension) for around a year. Everyone we contacted took an eternity getting back to us. Communication during quote stage was quick and the price quoted extremely reasonable.The job was started on schedule the 2nd week of January and completed within expected schedule (9 weeks) which was brilliant given the problems that the weather presented.Anthony and the team were brilliant and we experienced minimum disruption given the magnitude of the build (roof having to come off the whole of upstairs and the two youngest children only had to sleep downstairs instead of their usual upstairs bedroom for 2 nights out of the whole 9 weeks.The house being an older property (1960's) through some curveballs, existing walls not straight etc... but the team handled them all.The project was completed on budget and to a high standard, Anthony went above and beyond, even plastering a wall that we had not got around to doing from a previous job much to our surprise.All the team were polite and courteous and were focused on the job from start to finish. I would have no hesitation recommending B A Berry to others and will be my 1st port of call should I require any further building work in the future.

Had an extension built to rear of house. Anthony was very professional in what he advised me. The work was done quicker than expected even in the bad weather we had recently. The team he had working alongside him were professional and hard working. They were extremely polite and good to get on with. Even with last minute changes it was not a problem to them. Anthony and his team did an excellent job on water damaged crumbling wall - a job that some other builders would not attempt to rectify. I had been let down by 3 previous companies and it was a refreshing change when this builder communicated properly and arrived to deal with the work when he said he would. I would certainly ask Anthony to deal with any future maintenance needed.

Mr Berry offered a very competitive quotation which I accepted confidently as he has carried out work for us previously.The work comprised of a new kitchen roof with roof window. Re-rendering, plastering, plumbing and re-wiring.New wall and floor tilling and new kitchen units. To say we are pleased with the end result is an understatement. "We are delighted". We will use B A Berry again and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone requiring an honest, trustworthy and reliable builder.

Mr Berry came to inspect the job on the same day I contacted him and provided a quote a few days later- guttering repairs and roof maintenance.The work was completed within 4 weeks of accepting the price(could have been earlier but first date was not suitable to me)His team of 3 were prompt, worked hard and cleared the site well after.Had a small problem with a leak in one part of the gutter a couple of weeks later but the same team returned within 2 hours and fixed it.Overall, I would recommend this company to someone wanting general household repairs.

BA Berry is one of the best builders in Wigan. We asked Anthony for a quote to remove an internal in our property. We got a prompt estimate and reply within a couple of days. From start to finish the quality of the work was tops and at a very reasonable rate. We really pleased with the final look.The guys who work for Anthony are so helpful and take pride in the work they do and they were very respectful in our home.Anthony was always at hand with any questions we needed to ask. Anthony and his team arrived on site on 14/03/17 to carry out work on a first floor extension, from start to finish they cracked on with the work and only for there being some inclement weather would have completed this in under 2 weeks. They were always polite and listened to any requests from me, the quality of work is excellent and the cost was very reasonable, on completion of the work the site was left in a clean condition, I would have no hesitation in recommending this builder to anyone. spot guys "Thanks"

Anthony came to look at the job the same day I contacted him and I had a quote by the end of the week! The work was carried out a couple of weeks later. Job done and I'm very happy. The team were friendly and efficient, although the work took a week to complete, they tidied up properly every day, and kept the garden secure during rebuilding of a boundary wall. The job involved pointing, rebuilding, roofing and relaying of a concrete ramp. All of it completed in the time promised. Highly recommended!

I was most impressed. I had a flat dorma roof replaced at my elderly mothers residence.This company was competent and helpful. I was also impressed by the kindness Mr Berry showed in doing a temporary repair when he came to quote for the job because he knew the stress it was causing my mother because of the water pouring in. The workmen were very courteous, careful and clean. the finished appearance is excellent, but it is a roof replacement and so we cannot comment until it has been tested by the weather. a previous, but much smaller job carried out by this firm for us has been excellent. hence our repeat order.
