Steve & Anthony ripped out our old bathroom back to the breeze block and completely re fitted, fully tiled all the walls and floor and installed shower, toilet & sink unit plus new ceiling with led spotlights and extractor fan. Excellent standard of work, fully recommended

Steve & Anthony recently fitted our new bathroom & we are extremely pleased with the result. They panelled the walls, tiled the floor & fitted a new vanity, loo plus various accessories. The workmanship is of a very high standard & was completed within a week. It's important that somebody working in your home for several days is easy to get on with & Steve & Anthony really were. We couldn't be happier.

I highly recommend Stephen's work, without reservation. He was to replace the tiles in our hall, but when he lifted the tiles, he discovered it was a more complicated job than he had anticipated. He carried out the work meticulously and with great skill. He is respectful of the customer's house, and took great care to clear up afterwards. Most importantly, we are delighted with the finished job.

Steve (Atherton Tiling Solutions) and Anthony (Gorse Heating and Plumbing) worked together to remodel and install a complete new bathroom for me. They were confronted with a nightmare bathroom where everything sink,shower and bath had been leaking through the kitchen ceiling, they also found out the toilet had been leaking. They found redundant pipework and pump left under the floorboards, water damaged joists and floorboards. Everything has been replaced and the work that has been completed is excellent. Whilst working on the bathroom they also installed an extra radiator in my kitchen and fixed a faulty valve on another radiator. They are very busy and I had to wait a few months until they could complete the work but it was well worth the wait. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The service we received from Stephen and Anthony was excellent! They refurbished our bathroom, including new plastered ceiling, full bathroom suite and shower, flooring, lighting and tiling to an excellent standard. They kept us regularly informed as to what they were doing. They arrived on time each day and always ensured they left the area tidy at night. They provided a professional and excellent service. Would definitely recommend them!

Stephen did an excellent job of restoring our leaking shower tiles. Several others had turned down this very tricky job, but Stephen really listened, understood the problems and came up with workable solutions. All our tiles are discontinued so he had to work around them very carefully, it was more like conservation work than a simple repair job. Stephen is something of a craftsman and I'm delighted with the finished job.

Steve (from ATS) and Anthony (Gorse Heating and Plumbing) worked together to completely refurbish my main bathroom. They removed the old bath and installed a walk in shower, false ceiling and lighting, new toilet and washbasin together with new flooring. The service was excellent and I am delighted with the outcome. The work was carried out when they told me it would be. They always turned up on time and ensured everywhere was clean before they left at the end of the day. They were very professional. I highly recommend them and would have no hesitation in using them again.

We've had a complete bathroom refit - floor, ceiling, walls and bathroom suite. Stephen and Anthony gave much thought to the problems encountered and overcame them in a way we thought not even possible. Their professionalism, craft, attention to detail went well beyond our expectations in an age when it is difficult to find this calibre of workmanship. steve, came down and tiled 1 bathroom wall,the other3 walls were a very bland grey pattern. looked like a warehouse...i bought 5 packs of cimenti decor from b&q. there a quirky pattern. the cleverness is that steve knew exactly the look i wanted ,especially around the window,the reveals etc.... he thinks about what hes doing .he doesnt just throw them on ,thats the skill....he always does our families tiling...thank you ...oh he fitted the tiles while i was working away...thanks steve...

Stephen and Anthony stripped out our bathroom and fitted a new suite with shower, spotlights and a radiator. Three walls and the floor were tiled. During the installation they made suggestions how the refit could be improved and we are delighted with the result. Both were very friendly, helpful and efficient and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Amazing service from start to finish. After the first consultation, Stephen and Anthony helped us find someone to fit a new boiler and a few weeks later, re-tiled and fitted a new bathroom and en-suite. The service they offer along with Leigh Plumbing Merchants is brilliant- they do all the leg work and working out, you simply go to LPM with a list and pick your basin, toilet, etc. The work was done quickly and the area always kept clear and tidy. It even turned out too that LPM had supplied a slightly different shower, meaning that after an already brilliant service, I was owed £53 which Stephen sorted. Highly recommend these gentlemen.

This is the third time Stephen has done work for me, having previously fitted a whole new bathroom and tiled another.
And now, once again has delivered an outstanding result in tiling the kitchen.
Stephen is dedicated, professional and very nice to deal with. He is respectful, courteous and cleans everywhere each day. And at the end of the job, leaves the tiling cleaned and polished.
His tiling is absolutely fantastic! You will not find better.
He takes a real pride in his work and it shows in the results. A perfect job!

Found Stephen through this website after being let down with other tilers not coming when agreed: Stephen came at the agreed time to quote, and he completed the agreed work to a very high standard and left the job clean and tidy. Stephen is by far, the finest tradesman I have ever dealt with.
He did tiling and flooring in my bathroom last year and I was extremely happy with both his work and his professionalism.
So this year I asked him and his plumbing partner, Anthony Gorse, to install a complete new bathroom at my Mum's house.
Together, they created a new bathroom so seamlessly, it feels like they waved a magic wand.
Stephen's tiling is impeccable.
His attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work is exceptional. His skill and professionalism is second to none.
He is reliable, punctual, courteous and respectful, works very hard and leaves everywhere clean as a whistle every day. I highly recommend.

Got in touch with Stephen by email to arrange details of job. He arrived on time on date that we agreed. Discussed job so he knew exactly what he was doing. Was very helpful with some suggestions. Stephen and Antony have done a fantastic job of creating a beautiful bathroom for me. We went on holiday and left them to it and y'day when we came home the room was transformed. I can't begin to tell you how delighted I/We are with our new bathroom consisting of removing the old bathroom, fixing the existing dodgy flooring, moving the radiator, new ceiling, and lighting, flooring, tiling, shower plinth and tray, cubicle, shower, sink, toilet...The works.
I would recommend to anyone Stephen And Antony's skill, workmanship, time keeping and most of all the fact that they KNOW they are working in someone's home and they treat it as if it were their own. Both pretty handy with a hoover too.

Stephen and Anthony have completely refitted our ensuite with a new sink, wc and shower. The work also included retiling of walls and new laminate flooring. All work was carried out to an excellent standard in a timely manner. We are delighted with our new ensuite.

Stephen came to finish tiling a bathroom which had been left half finished by a cowboy previously.
Stephen took apart and re-did some of the previous poor work and he finished off the rest of the tiling to a very good standard. Everything left clean and shining.
He then fitted bathroom flooring which also was done very well.
Stephen is pleasant, punctual, works hard and takes a real pride in his work.
Very pleased indeed with the overall result and thank you Stephen for coming to the rescue!

I have had both my bathroom and en-suite totally re-furbished and I'm absolutely thrilled with the finished results. From start to finish I cannot fault the service from both Stephen Lyth and Antony Gorse. They were very helpful, courteous and efficient and even took time every evening to tidy up and vacuum before they left!! Their workmanship - in my opinion- is first class and I certainly would recommend them with confidence.

Stephen is always on time, is trustworthy and considerate. His pricing is very competitive.
He tiled two floors for me, neither of which were straightforward, and produced excellent results in both. Stephen is easy to talk to and gives good advice - his experience spans many years and he has tips and suggestions that I would never have thought about.

Stephen and Antony took out our old bathroom, took all old tiles off and fitted a whole new bathroom, flooring, tiling and re plumbed to take the new bathroom. We are very happy with the finished product. They work very hard and are punctual every day. They are very diligent and have a high degree of integrity. The sink we bought was distorted which they pointed out to us so that we could get a new one in its place. Would highly recommend their services.

We cannot rate Stephen and Anthony highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it was lovely to meet 2 workmen who take so much pride in their work. They wanted nothing short of perfection in the work they did. They replumbed all the bathroom, fitted the ceiling, layed the flooring, tiled the bathroom and fit the bathroom furniture. They arrived promptly each day and worked really hard even though the weather was really hot. We are so pleased with the finished results and would recommend them to anyone without any hesitation whatsoever. The fact that they are booked up several weeks/months in advance is a testament to the kind of job they do. We are so grateful that they were recommended to us.

Polite, diligent, professional with work completed to a very high standard. Stephen and his co-worker, Anthony, were the only people who would tackle the job I needed doing. Stephen was recommended by another plumber I knew who didn't want to tackle the mosaic. I had employed P&C Designs from Hindley Green initially. They made a terrible job of the mosaic and also used old connectors under sink and bath. In less than a year I had water getting through the mosaic, causing damp on the wall. Stephen came to look at the job. He agreed to do it, gave me an appointment card and also the price. Anthony carried out the plumbing work that needed doing. At all times I was kept aware of the work being done and the cost involved. I have no hesitation in recommended them. I am very pleased with their high standard of work.
