We contacted Dave on the strength of his previous feedback reviews and can confirm that he certainly lived up to our expectations. He did a couple of plastering jobs, a problem area in the hall cupboard and a bedroom ceiling which needed replastering. His work was superb and we are extremely pleased with the finished result. He was very pleasant as well as being meticulous and hard working. He put protective covers down whilst he did the work and left everything exceptionally clean and tidy. We would highly recommend Dave's services and would certainly contact him again for any future plastering work.

David came to my rescue after being let down by three other plasterers and had luck would have it, was able to do my plastering (dining room) the very next day. David is a true professional and did an amazing job. He was very friendly and explained everything to me before he started. He was very tidy and cleaned everything up when he had finished. Rang Dave up, he came round, priced up, he arrived on time, he has done a brilliant job, it was the landing/stairs ceiling quite high. When he left he left our house extremely vlean. He is 100% professional, polite, clean, courteous, and I would not hesitate to have him back. The finish on thd ceiling is fantastic. This guy is "the perfect plasterer " Cheers dave.

All the superlatives have been used in previous reviews. I employed Dave purely on the comments he has deservedly earned in previous reviews on here. I had a reconstructed stud wall that needed boarding and skimming on both sides that had to match an existing section of wall. I texted him as itâs easier to get hold of tradesmen/craftsmen if they are out on a job. He replied, came out to measure up and quoted as soon as he could. The job was his. The day of the work Dave turned up on time at 8am and got straight on with things, prepping the floor coverings from the job site to the point of access into the house. Anything that needed covering was covered. He mixed all his plaster outside to keep the dust out of the house. Dave completed his prep work then confirmed exactly what I wanted doing regarding a light switch before cracking on. A few hours later and the job was complete. Other than having a wall where I hadnât previously had one for the last few weeks you wouldnât know that that any work had been done, everywhere was utterly spotless. Dave is polite, punctual, extremely hard working, knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful, professional and honest. His attention to detail cannot be matched. His professional standards really are second to none. The finish he achieves is like silk, Iâve never seen plasterwork like it. If youâre reading this you must be looking for a plasterer, and trust me you need Dave. Tradesmen of his quality are rare. Dave, if you get to read this, thanks again for your expertise today. The quality of Davids work is incredible. The preparation beforehand was fantastic, you cannot tell we have had any plastering done! Not a mark on the walls, floor, even outside where he mixed the plaster! Its like a plaster fairy came in! The ceiling he has done is like glass. Absolute top class work. Really lovely guy, arrived exactly as he said. Hes booked in for another room! Thank you!

Dave re plastered my kitchen which was in a state part artexed and full of holes. He was very knowledgeable and worked hard everyday. The finished room looks fantastic and is done to a excellent standard . I would highly recommend Dave to anyone.

Everything about the work that David did for us was great. The walls and ceilings had been stripped back to, in many places, the bare brick. Once Dave had finished, everything looked pristine and was top quality. David just came in and got on with the job, no fuss about anything. We've never employed a tradesman that was so diligent. We would recommend without hesitation.

Bedroom walls and ceiling plastered to a high standard and in a professional manner. The preparation work to minimise dust and debris was excellent. We would recommend David without hesitation to anyone requiring plastering work to be carried out.

David came to plaster my kitchen ceiling and walls. I was very happy with both his work and his professionalism. He is an exceptional tradesman who is very nice to deal with and really takes a pride in his work. Having had plastering done in the past with a different trader, I was expecting a lot of mess and a lot of dust. But I was pleasantly surprised that this did not happen with David's work. He took care to cover everything and mixed all the plaster outside so there was no dust. He cleaned up everywhere afterwards each day and I couldn't believe it was all finished with no mess. The quality of his plastering is very good and the finish is as smooth as glass. He is punctual, courteous, respectful, very quiet and works very hard. I would highly recommend him. Thank you David for a great job!

I phoned David in desperation as we lost a lot of plaster whilst stripping walls for decorating, he came to review the job within a few hours and it was completed within 24 hours of first contacting him. The work was completed to a very high standard quickly and efficiently, and he clearly explained what to look for in the plastered areas so we know when it is safe to apply wallpaper The house was left spotlessly clean due to the plastic sheeting he applied to carpets I would highly recommend this company

Outstanding Plasterer. David and his assistant were very punctual on the 2 days they worked on our house. He has plastered our main bedroom and the ceiling on our landing. Came early morning to repair the damaged bedroom ceiling, They repaired the damage and reskimmed the ceiling. They were very clean and efficient. Plastic sheeting was used to cover areas where needed. I am very impressed.

Over skim of Kitchen, Hall, Stairs and Landing. David kept to our agreed start date even though he was very busy. He and his assistant arrived promptly each morning for the four consecutive days they plastered at our house. Both worked extremely hard throughout the day - the hardest I have ever seen workmen graft at our house. A great deal of respect was given to our property and it's contents. During each day they made every attempt to keep the area around their work as clean as possible and at the end of the day they cleaned up after themselves. The quality of workmanship was excellent and at each stage of the process David checked whether it was acceptable. The price was very reasonable and as previous winner of Stars in Their Eyes he will even chuck in the odd song free of charge! I would have no hesitation in recommending Able Plastering to friends or family.

Recently had David out for the 3rd time in twelve months to plaster he's done our hallway, bedrooms and just done our living room/dining room. All of it looks superb now decorated, that's down to davids excellent finish as a plasterer. He was always on time and clean and tidy. Biggest compliment I could give him is that I wouldn't use anybody else for plastering.

Arrived on time, perfect work of the highest quality finish. Left no mess at all and charged very reasonable price. Second time Dave has done work for me and I would highly recommend his work. We had the Artex on our bathroom ceiling removed and then the ceiling replastered. Dave did a quick and efficient job and the finished surface is perfect. This is one of many jobs Dave had done for us and we wouldn't hesitate to use Able plastering again.

David repaired the damage to our kitchen ceiling after a pipe burst. He did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. His communication was always excellent always quick to update us on when he was coming and always replied promptly to emails. He was punctual and a very clean worker, leaving no mess. He will be our first port of call for any future plastering jobs.

We are extremely pleased with the service provided. David was extremely punctual and pleasant. We had the ceramic tiles in the kitchen removed and the walls re-plastered. Not only very happy with work but impressed with his preparation, respect for our home and how he cleaned up afterwards. We would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Contacted David and within days he had come round and quoted. David booked me in for the work over the next fortnight. Very friendly, polite and punctual. David cleared up after himself each day. Recently had the pleasure of having David from Able Plastering round to skim my hallway walls and straighten them up for me as every wall in my house seems to be out, i tell you now ive used plasterers in the past and was dreading it as they can be messy and take over the whole house, not David and his lads though i didnt know they were here, and his quality of finish is immense and i mean that, ive never seen plaster with a finish on it like David achieves, he is very punctual, and clean i couldnt believe how clean they left my hallway, he even left the plastic sheets down for me to use why i paint the walls, his price was very good too, in fact there isnt a thing i can find a fault with at all, hes coming back to do two bedrooms for me in October, if you need a very good plasterer at a very good price then dont hesitate to give David a ring.

Once again Dave has proved himself to be the true master of the plaster. He took my shell of a kitchen ( I had ripped out the kitchen and all the old plaster in my wonky walled - no true walls or many straight lines) and turned it into a thing of beauty. Straight lines, smooth plaster. He accommodated all my requests, some squeaky last minute changes due to kitchen redesign, always helpful, polite, so knowledgeable about his trade, (and others). Just a pleasure to leave him working in the house. I have used his services many times and why? Because you will not get a better plasterer. To sum up - a bloke at the top of his game. Don't hesitate - just book him in!!

It is difficult to add anything to the other excellent reviews. We had chosen Dave from the reviews and were not disappointed. Dave was extremely personable, polite efficient and just got on with the job with his apprentice. Everything was completely and effectively covered with plastic sheeting, extremely effective. Dave is quite the perfectionist and takes pride in his standard of work. We had 2 living room ceilings done, one quite large and apparently uneven . Excellent work and for the price we would have had Dave before instead of doing smaller areas ourselves. Quite the best workman we have ever had in our homes, although we do most work ourselves to be sure of a good job. Can't praise Dave enough for the way he just got on with the job, respected us and our home, no loud music, worked consistently throughout the day with very little mess considering plastering can be quite a messy job. We had been worried about the cost but were pleasantly surprised by the written estimates for what was not an easy job, one ceiling being quite large. We will certainly use Dave again for any future projects without any hesitation. Not often you are able to say this nowadays.

Dave is quite simply the best plasterer that I have ever used. His work is superb- I have never seen a finish so smooth. He is very clean and very reasonably priced. On top of all that, he is a really lovely bloke. If you need a plasterer, don't even bother looking elsewhere. Would very highly recommend him. Thanks for all your hard work Dave!!.

Dave has recently replastered two rooms for us, and we are delighted with the results. He was able to preserve the original Victorian cornice around the ceiling but still end up with flatter, straighter walls than this house has ever seen. As well as working really hard and producing exceptional results, Dave was friendly, straightforward and went out of his way to explain options, costs etc. A real professional.

I've never known a plasterer to take so much care around my home. Dave spent an hour laying plastics and dust sheets to protect carpets, doors and walls before he began. Needless to say the qulaity of this work was of the very highest quality. Highly recommended.
