Having researched traders on the Good Trader site I visited Advanced Fencing mid morning with a view to obtaining a quote for a replacement garden gate. I had taken pictures of the existing gate with measurements. Paul gave me a price while I was there and said they could make the gate later in the day but installation would probably be 2 days later. Four hours later there was a knock on the door - my gate was delivered and by 3pm it was installed by 2 very pleasant guys. They also fixed a fence panel which rattled loudly when there were strong winds. Absolutely exceptional service.

From contacting Paul to his first visit to give a quote and carrying out the work was within 5 days. Excellent service, I would highly recommend them you wont be disappointed. After seeing Advanced Fencing doing work on a neighbours, I asked how much it would cost to repair a post as it had been left in a dangerous condition. Next thing I know one of the workmen (Danny) knocked on my door and said all done, fee of charge. Paul and his team installed a fence to the side of the property. The job was quite complex due to the location of the garage in relation to the existing fence and posts. Nothing was to much trouble for the team. Paul as always turned up on time for the consultation and was very helpful and patient as we discussed various ideas and options. On installation day Paul's team turned up promptly and completed the job to a very high standard. The lads were very helpful taking away all the debris from this job (and 1 or 2 other bits and pieces). The lads also swept and tidied up all the mess associated with the job and did some cement work at no extra charge. This is the 3rd time we have used Paul and each time they have delivered a 10/10 experience. Nothing is too much trouble and they never let you down. Thank you so much for transforming our garden. I booked Advanced Fencing to undertake fencing for my mum's property and we are both delighted with the result. As I couldn't be there I explained what was needed. Paul did a fabulous job, exactly as promised. The guys arrived on time, installed the fencing, were courteous with mum and ensured there was no disruption. All the work was carried out quickly, and to a high standard. Paul and his team grafted all day to install 12 panels, posts etc., in one day. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, even turning up the day before the agreed date to clear away the old fencing. Found this company on line. Not knowing them I walked round as they were only half a mile up the road. The quote they gave me was in the middle range of prices i had already recieved. They showed me the panels that I was after and was quite happy with them. I asked them when they could deliver them and as I was just up the road they said in 30mins, true to there word they arrived. I am know 72 and after some thought i decided I was too old to fit them myself so i called and asked them to fit them for me, again no problem. One hour later all three panels were in place and I was a happy pensioner. Good! Brilliant

Told Paul my requirements for a new fence panel, a new base for the panel and to have 2 posts re-positioned, 24 hours later his 2 men had done a superb job, took all debris away and we were delighted. Spoke to Paul Burke (Proprietor) on Tuesday 15th May about renewing my garden fence. Paul explained the various options available and after choosing my preferred option I was given a highly competitive quote. I received a phone all the next day (Wednesday) at 11.30 a.m. stating they were on their way. Arrived 12 noon and by 13:30 they had removed all the old fencing and concrete bases and renewed everything to a very high standard and left no mess. Highly recommended!

The group of three people from Advanced Fencing and Gates Ltd, who came to replace our fencing were three of the nicest and happiest set of workers one could ever wish to meet. Nothing was too difficult for them to take care of, and they worked with a will at all times, even though they began the job in a shower of rain. Advanced Fencing replaced my old timber garden fence with concrete posts and close board panels. The work was started early in the morning and was completed just after lunch.The work was carried out to a very high standard. My new fence looks great! Advanced Fencing and Gates Ltd provided an exceptional service, giving a fast quotation for the work required and then delivering and fitting beautiful quality new fencing. I was so impressed, I asked if they would also supply and fit more fencing for my garden, which they did immediately. The men simply turned around, went back to the depot and re-appeared not half an hour later with exactly what was needed. The finished job is superb and what I really liked was that the fence panels weren't raw wood, but properly treated and dipped so they look very smart before they're even painted. Excellent, I can highly recommend the company and their care in doing their work.

We phoned Advanced Fencing (Paul) at 9.00 a.m, he gave us a price for fence panels over the phone, made them and delivered them to our house by 11:30 a.m. the same day. The fence is excellent quality, the price was very reasonable, no delivery charged. We used this firm ten years ago to have a lovely new fence, which is still as good as new. We found the workmen to be hardworking and well mannered, and would recommend them to anyone.

Dealing with Advanced has been an serious pleasure. From the planning with Paul, through to the execution by Neil and Mike. Faultless. I am a bit sceptical about these reviews, but, stand on me, these are some of the best people I have dealt with. Paul came and quoted when he said he would and the installation team Neil and Mike arrived at 7.45am this morning. I've arrived home from work at 5.39pm tonight, job done to the highest standards, so clean that the only way you know they have been here, is the 2 superb fences they have installed and the gate they've moved. So pleased. I hope many more experience this feeling of complete satisfaction I'm feeling now. Advanced will be the first and last call I'll make for any future jobs they can do for us.

I'm always worried when getting a firm in to do jobs at the house but those worries go away when dealing with Paul and his team. An excellent job from quotation through to cleaning up after and a firm who turn up when they say without any issues. The quality of the work is excellent and the guys doing the job are organised, efficient and polite. I would have no hesitation in using them again and will certainly recommend to family and friends.

From start to finish the service has been perfect. From first exchanging emails with Paul to him turning up on both occassions on time and was extremely professional, taking the time to tell me about the different options available. On the day of the job they turned up on time and did an excellent job in an amazing time. They even cleaned up afterwards and watered the flags down. Ive been trying to get these fences done for 12 months now, and been in touch with about 7 companies, some of which never bothered to turn up. Dont waste your time with the rest and make sure you give Paul a call. For a great quote and a courteous service. 5 star.

I have used this company previously when I required new double gates and they did an excellent job. I had no hesitation in getting a quote to replace the fencing to the rear of my house, that was in a very poor state. The quote I got from Paul was acceptable. On the day the lads turned up promptly and started work straight away. They replaced all the concrete posts and bottom panels, plus the actual wooden fence panels AND, added a post adjacent to the neighbour so that our fencing was totally independent. Unbelievably, the job was completed in under four hours. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

We have had new fencing panels fitted in the garden. The quality is top class and workmanship brilliant as we had two awkward size ones to fit & the lads even used the off cuts to block a gap between the fencing & garden wall for us. The day I contacted Advanced Fencing they came out later that day to quote and were very professional, friendly and competitive. Communication was excellent and although I couldn't be there they were able to complete the job to a high standard and even beyond what I asked them to do. I am extremely pleased and would definitely recommend this company to anyone, far superior to any trades in St Helens......I only wish I had extra money to pay them a bigger tip as they thoroughly deserved it. Paul arranged a time to visit me and assess the job. He was there on the dot and gave me a very, very reasonable quote, which I immediately accepted. He was able to give me a date and time for the job and again, turned up on the dot. Men turned up on time and immediately started work. Great care taken when removing old fence and installing new fence so that absolute minimum of damage to plants. Work finished within time span given at time of estimate. Although raining, paths were washed and brushed to remove mud. Finished job was excellent, would highly recommend this firm.

This is the second job that they have done for me. There was a big tree in the way but the guys chopped it down for me at a very reasonable rate. They also took great care not to damage any of my plants / veg that was growing at the side of the fence. I am very pleased again and would recommend them very highly.

I know the company didn't make much profit because of what I paid and had been quoted but the service they gave was fantastic. He rang me on Saturday and delivered and fitted Monday. Work was done in 30 minutes. His 2 lads were very obliging and polite. I would recommend them.

I had previously contacted two different fence companies for quotes, one of the companies took around 1/2 week to come and and quote and still didn't quote for what I had asked for, the other company told me they had a minimum of 8 weeks fit time and this could get put back as they had another contract over the general public, so at this point found it very difficult to get a good reputable company who I trusted. My partner had found on the good trader "Advanced Fencing" and told me to give them a call, withing 5 minutes of contacting the company, Paul (the owner) called me and had a chat about what I may need, the next morning he was out measuring and I had a firm quote and date. They ripped out the old fencing the day before and the lads (2 very polite lads) arrived at 7.45am on the morning of the fit day, they completed the same day, and the new fence look great - they had even built up the base panels with extra pieces (in areas) to make the fence look very even as the garden is very uneven. The new fencing is top quality Vertical panels. I have pattern imprinted concrete too which was a worry for me, not for the lads though they filled around the new fence posts to a very similar colour - very neat job. Paul the owner is on the ball with any questions that you need answering, answers your calls/texts immediately. Very reliable, the price I paid for the new fencing/gate is worth every penny - transformed the outside of the property. I cannot recommend this company any higher 5*. Good quality fencing and gate erected within a day. Removal of old metal gate, installation of 4 fence panels (including concrete panels and posts) and a gate cost 780 which I have since been told is very expensive so I do now wish I had got other quotes and wonder if I paid far too much, but no complaints re the work done.

Very good quality fencing was erected exactly to my specification, including replacing concrete posts and a new gate. The gentlemen doing the work were just that - real gentlemen! Polite and courteous throughout, together with working hard, using their time efficiently to complete a quality job. After completion, they spent time cleaning up properly; they even very kindly removed, along with the old fencing and posts, a heavy, dysfunctional security safe that had been sitting in the garden whilst I contemplated having it removed. Such was the quality of their work and their very courteous, friendly manner, I negotiated further work to be done (I'll provide further feedback on this). I do not hesitate to recommend them.

First class service from start to finish. full exploration of the job provided with the quote , to ensure expectations clear. incredibly impressed with the quality of work, politeness of the team, and the way my drive, borders, grass and pathway was left clean and tidy. called Advanced Fencing for a quote. within 4 hours they had been to my house. I was given a quote that I accepted. I was then give a date on the spot, I accepted. Advanced Fencing had to make two visits to my home and were very punctual both times. The men on the Advanced Fencing Team were excellent skilled workmen, and were reluctant even to stop for a break. The job from the quote to completion was finished within 3 working days. Superb workmanship. Also, no hidden extras to pay for. The cost was exactly the amount of the original quote.

The work required, was to repair fencing which had blown over. The work was completed within 24 hours of my request. The men turned up in adverse weather and did an excellent job, they left the garden clean & tidy. They explained what would be requeire at a future date to give me more adequate fencing ie cement posts. I would use them again. We accessed the Wigan Good Trader site and were impressed by the comments and pictures of the work Paul had completed. Contacted him - came that day and gave us a reasonable quote for the work we wanted doing and confirmed the date for the work to be done. Paul and his team came the day before to clear away the old fencing and posts - Paul & crew turned up early next day in all the rain and did a fantastic job of replacing the fence, posts and even replaced the bracket for us to be able to rehang the gate when we are ready!! Despite my husband's constant interference Paul & his team managed to do a marvelous job and we are proud to have a new fence in our drive. We have no hesitation in recommending Advanced Fencing Paving & Gates (Paul Burke)and will probably have him back to do some further work next summer!!!
